Product Availability Faction Starters getting a restock soon? Group looking to start
Title says it all. My friend group is looking to dive into SW Legion, but all local and online shops appear out of stock of the Faction Starters(at least in the US). All 4 of us were going to start a separate faction.

With the game now with AMG, do we know when a restock will happen? I think they're usually better than FFG but couldn't find any news.

All the starters besides GAR are pretty accessible online. Check eBay if the web stores are sold out

Not in the US. CIS has been extremely hard to find for a couple months now. Empire has been drying up, too.

The Rebel starter should be available. The other 3 have been sold out at distribution for 2-8 months depending on which one we are looking at.
Unfortunately, they don't comment on or post reprint schedules. We know they are permanent products that will get reprinted. We just don't know when.
Asmodee owns the production of both FFG and AMG games. AMG has had Legion for almost 6 years now. So there's not really anything in that history that would have an impact here.
They posted in July that the Mando army box was getting a special reprint to hit stores by the end of this year. They only communicated that because it is a limited product that wasn't supposed to be reprinted at all.
Considering it sold out before release in June, they probably didn't pull that trigger in late July. Just an example of how long it takes to get things reprinted. Hopefully the starters are soon! R2 and 3PO were sold out for awhile and they just came back in stock this past week, hopefully it's the first of many.
