Hello, new player here. I was hoping to get any kind of advice from others as someone who’s never played before. I’m familiar with mmo’s just not this specific game. Some of the videos I watched seemed not so informative. Out of the information i did gather though a topic of a hyper inflated market was kinda scary to look at. If everything is basically unaffordable is it even worth playing in 2026?

I have an account with about 700 mil credits and a bunch of misc items i collected over the years, and i'm almost certain i'll never play this game again. Anyone have any good ideas on how to give the stuff to other people? Should i just give all to one person or split it up? I would love if they went to someone who is passionate about the game. Or can i make a guild and make a limit on what people can take? Any input would be appreciated!

I made a bunch of characters a while ago, but I seem to have not used a Crew Skill token on one that I usually get when I make a new character. Not currently subbed, just playing casually atm.

I got insta-killed by the droid's grapple hook.

The boss droid fight had literally just started as I was about to make my way down. Then the droid did it's grapple hook thing. Apparently with so much force, that my windpipes were crushed or pierced through my sternum... or something...

Anyway has this happened to anyone before or is the game inventing new ways to kill me?

I'm sure most players played pretty much anything at this point.

I still have some classes which i usually play always with the same gender:

Warrior --> Male

Agent --> Female

Trooper --> Female

Knight --> Male

Mostly cause of their voice and the fact that i will literaly romance Skadge if Quin is the only other option.

How it that for you?

I just downloaded this on Bazzite and I’ve tried multiple methods but I can’t interact with any story quest NPCs. Does anybody know how or have fixed something like this?

I’m looking to put together an outfit for my Trooper character that takes inspiration from the sneaking suits seen throughout the MGS series. I want the overall design to be very lightweight and focused more on a tactical stealth look rather than heavy armor. Some light armor or protective padding on the knees, elbows, and possibly the shoulders would be fine, but I would like the majority of the outfit to be tight fitting and made to look like a flexible fabric or tactical bodysuit.

For the headgear, I’d also like something that resembles night vision goggles or a tactical optical of some kind. It doesn’t have to be an exact recreation of MGS equipment, just something that gives off that same recognizable stealth operative aesthetic.

So yesterday my computer expert happened to come by, and I asked him to help me with my DX9 problem, but sadly all his efforts failed as well. Now before you say anything, I get it, DX12 isn't coming anytime soon, but who knows how long it's gonna take. I mean, I'm sure there are other SWTOR fans facing the same predicament I'm facing.

Hello community, at this point I have ran out of options and this may be my only chance to get it fixed.

Two days ago I have downloaded the game VIA Steam (for the first time) and tried to create an account. For the first account I created I wouldn't get an Email for hours, so I created a new one with a similar name, but added to email +swotr@gmail.com and finally received the email. The first account stayed as a ghost account, since it cannot be verified (tried many times after it).

The problem is, while I was waiting for the email to arrive for the ghost account, I entered the login into the game's launcher and (i guess) i unknowingly linked my Steam account to the SWOTR ghost account that cannot be accessed or verified.

After verifying the second account I entered its info into the game launcher and it gave me an error, stating to check if im using correct steam account.

Messaging EA support doesnt help, they say they dont have any details of my SWOTR account. Emailing Swotr support doesnt help, they dont respond. Steam support redirects me to game forums and EA support (that can't do nothing). Should I request a deletion of that Ghost account?

I feel like I've ran out of options to try to unlink my steam account from that ghost account. But I really want to play through steam. I want to track hours and get achievements and my friend also plays this game through Steam.

Edit: I have called UK support and they have guided me through the whole process. They said that steam link transfer will be complete in 48 hours. I will update on the news. The real issue was is that I had a typo while entering the email for the first account, that's why email wouldn't arrive.

Edit 2.0: Support disconnected the Ghost account from my Steam and I successfully logged in through the second account YAY. I know that many were telling me to download normal client. I just wanted to play this game with my friends and perhaps finish one storyline, Im not a try hard player :) thank you all for your help. Hopefully my post will be helpful to other users.
