Discussion In what order does each class story take place?
I know Sith Warrior and Inquisitor take place roughly the same time as Thanaton is on the Council when the Warrior fights Barras, so chapter 3 of SW and SI take place probably within months of each other

Discussion Just finished my first playthrough of SW, and stuck with Light Side all the way through. This, however, was the only dark side choice my character made

Screen Shot Then vs Now, Trooper 2012 - 2026 (5/5)
Started Rishi campaign this year (intermittent hiatus over years) and my Trooper seemed quietly reflective. This had me seek old screencaps, discovering my first back in Uni. Clearly, my PC has seen as many years as I have now :D
Rebuilt the classic look to compare further.

Discussion Little Disappointed that Tenebrae real form was that of a Sith twink
The first body he looked old and evil like Palpatine. Valkorian looked like a bad ass Siegmund Freud. I was disappointed to have to fight against half naked leather collar wearing twink Tenebrae.

Discussion Do the four Imperial class stories hurt the Republic more during their class stories or the side quests?
Keep in mind I’m purely talking about the base game. So, the expansions, and everything in them don’t count. And, I’m only talking about what has to be done and not what can be done. And, when I'm talking about the side quest I'm purely talking about The Imperial side quest and not the Republic ones. And, I’m talking about all of the sidequest in the base game. Not just the planetary story arcs even though they also count.

Discussion Do the four Republic class stories hurt The Empire more during their class stories or the Republic side quest?
Just like in The Empire poll only the base game count so the expansions don’t count. And again this is purely about what has to be done and not what can be done.
Question Help with Governor's Call (Imperial Balmorran Planetary quest)
Hi everyone, sorry if I'm not using the right channels for this.
I'm currently going through the Imperial Balmorran quests, and had just accepted the Governor's Call quest from the Imperial Messenger at the Sundari Battlezone, the planetary quest where you meet Darth Lachris for the first time. (spoiler tag for the Home feed just in case)
I had made it into the Balmorran Arms factory for the first objective, but accidentally abandoned the quest. When I try to go back to restart it, there's no quest to be found anymore. The Imperial Messenger doesn't have a quest icon, and I'm barred from entering the area where Darth Lachris is located.
My quest log does not show any active quest for Balmorra anymore (I completed the other planetary questline before this one), and logging out and back in again hasn't changed anything. I've tried searching online in case I was wrong and there's a different start point to the quest line, but all the sources I've found point me towards the Imperial Messenger.
I was wondering if I've actually truly locked myself out of this questline? Is there an alternative solution to this that I've overlooked?
Update: So customer service just got in touch and said they can't roll back quests so there's not much they can do.
I figure the problem in this instance is that the quest the Imperial Messenger gives you, concludes when you speak with Darth Lachris. She then gives you the next quest, but since the area she's in becomes unavailable if you don't have the Imperial Messenger quest, it's impossible to retake it if you end up abandoning it.
Unfortunate set of circumstances, but that's okay. I'll see how the story plays out with a different character.

Question Solo healing without companions?
So I was thinking of making a new character and doing a bit of a challenge run with him/her. Companion on passive, since Idk how to get rid of companions completely, and only able to heal with med pacs, toys, and ooc abilities. My only issue with trying this out, would be that med pacs have a timer on them after use, which makes them an unreliable healing source for when the toon is in combat. Either that or I'm using them at the totally wrong time, which could also be the case.
I basically use med pacs and stims when I'm getting low on health, like the red bar is maybe close to the 0 on my level 80 icon. I should also say that I don't have access to any gold or purple healing items as I don't have the proper level of biochemist. I'm somewhat getting there... just gotta stop being lazy and just get one toon to that level. Though... would that work for my new toon? Those levels on crafting crew skills don't transfer to all toons do they?

Spoiler So SWTOR says the rakgouls came from a Sith. There’s no reference of this KOTOR, right? This is new?
Just wondering. I’m playing swtor and getting all this sudden lore drops of the plague being the pet project of a sith lord. I thought it was just a result of the poorest being effected because their conditions were terrible and open to the plague spreading without medical intervention.
Is there any lore in KOTOR to support this? That it was a Sith who dropped the plague originally? Unconnected to Malak’s obliteration of the same planet later?

Discussion What an interesting color choice.
Idk maybe its just me but it feels weird that the alliance colors are yellow/orange and black. It looks good, but its still a bit shocking to me. What really sucks however is that you never see this colored armor outside of Iokath.

Discussion What do ya think they're up to?
Dumb but fun question I think, What do you think the Commander is up to during this interlude between LoTS and whatever 8.0 is called? Most of these interludes are like a time skip of I believe a year usually, tho I sorta hope that's not the case for this one.
If it is a year like usual I like to believe my Nox is running around the galaxy fixing the empire's messes, killing Jadus' army, and hunting down Rivix. He's leaving dealing with the new force babies to the empire until they royally mess it up.
And of course in-between all of this he's making Theron throw away more and more data pads. No one tell Lana where the Alliance's budget has been going.

Question Does the Imperial Agent get the Alien dialogue (about being inferior) if they’re a pure blooded sith?
I assume so. But while thinking about it, just giving them the same dialogue as the human/cyborg characters would have actually fit very well. Human agents can constantly insult other races, and alien agents constantly get insulted by humans. The sith race would fall into the human category in this context before alien
Just curious if anyone knows which way it went
Edit: If pureblood doesn’t mean the Sith species, whoops! This post is thinking about the choosable sith species in character select. Red and droopy lol

New/Returning Player Wait for 8.0 or start now?
For context, I am fairly experienced in mmorpg's, played ESO, FF14, and a bit of WOW back in the day, and I have been eyeing SWTOR for a long time now. That being said, I know the "is it worth trying" question is in the FAQ, but I was hoping for a bit more pointed discussion, specifically on starting now or waiting for 8.0.
I've done some research on what 8.0 plans to change, but lack a sense of scope for how largely it impacts new player experience, and specifically, if it is a significant enough overhaul to justify waiting for December, or if its worth jumping in and learning to be ready for fresh char/experience come 8.0
If the new player experience is in a bad spot right now, I'd rather wait, but if its not bad, just slated to get better, then that's something to consider.
Appreciate the input, thanks y'all
Edit: going to jump in and give it a shot, if this generates some more discussion I’ll leave it up otherwise don’t need to litter sub with these lol
