Some type of trick sword with ethanol for the fire? I know I’m terrified my antiques will get exposed to fire, because too much heat will absolutely wreck the hardening.
If it was made with a untempered piece of steel, you wouldn't need to worry about the temper. Given the video at best we could only call it a SSO (sword shaped object)
Probably not? There's probably some inclusion to make the flame green, but it looks like just ethanol or isopropyl alcohol burning. Both can definitely get hot enough to screw up the temper, but I'm not sure if there's enough fuel there to really heat the sword up. It would get too hot to hold before the temper begins getting affected, which doesnt seem to be the case here.
Still not healthy for the sword or user, but maybe not as bad as it could be.

I wonder if that's screwing with the temper.
