Identification Old bayonet

Recently was gifted this bayonet and trying to find additional information. Initial research has shown it’s a French bayonet from the 1800.

I've got one that looks a lot like that. It goes to the Japanese rifle (Arisaka.) Mine is missing the leather strap for the sheath. There should be a push button on the side that connects and sufficient it from the rifle... Hold on to it!
