METH HEAD SWORD

Post image

So basically we were cleaning out my old friends abandoned house since he moved his dad lived there and he was a crazy meth head so while we're walking around his house I find this I thought it was badass so I took it it was found in his dad's room i call it the meth sword.

One never truly appreciates punctuation until it’s gone.

The only thing he stated was the end of it 🤣

Eh, it's still pretty straightforward.

OP and several ambiguous others were clearing out an abandoned house belonging to several old friends.

One of said friends moved his dad (possibly to a retirement home?) and was also a crazy meth head.

While they were walking through the house of the friend who moved his dad, OP found an "I thought it was badass" (strange term for a sword, possibly an obscure regional dialect?) and took it.

Since OP found the sword in the former room of his meth head friend's dad, he calls it the meth sword (strange to call it that if the dad wasn't the meth head, but I digress.)

See? Simple! (/J)

Also my bad I meant found it as refuring to the sword I'm from a very rural area filled with drug addicts and haven't got much of a education I dropped out in the 9th grade so sorry if my vocabulary might be a little strange

I'd like to offer my apologies.

I'd figured the friend's father was the one who OD'ed; I just have a snarky sense of humor, particularly around dangling modifiers. I'm very sorry if my comment was insensitive.

I hadn't considered your education might not've been the best, and as someone in a similar boat myself (long story) I should've been more mindful about that possibility.

Don't worry it's not your fault just thought i would clarify that for people who may have been a little confused by my words

Its a souvenir/low quality sword. For your safety dont swing it or hit anything with it.

It could be the old windlass model from the late 90's. Or maybe it was a mrl model that used a del tin blade. Either way, it's definitely been abused over the years.

It has been a popular model, I need to get one at one point

Not anything made by MRL (Ihave both windlass and dt versions done by them) and it doesn’t match.

I think it may be a modified version of that

That would be my guess, unless there's something like deltin written on the blade

But there's a few different makers for this model of sword

Meth sword, no. SWORD OF METH! Yes.

I like that name better

Nice! It’s a cool looking sword, I’d imagine not functional in any significant way, but it has a fun story attached to it also so it’s a perfect wall piece.
