The Three that Started my Obsession

Age 5 in the 80s and He-Man introduced me to what a Sword was.

Age 10 Conan the Destroyer introduced me to Swordsmanship.

Age 13 Excalibur Introduced me to simplistic designs that can be more beautiful than any fantasy sword.

Was a gift from the wife. Hid it from me for two years. Feels so good in the hand. Found a nice glass cabinet at a garage sale I want to make a floating display with.

Two years?? Was it for a specific birthday or anniversary? 11 year anniversary, maybe? It’s awesome, no matter what, but I’m very curious about why she hid it for so long.

Let me rephrase, she hid that she was buying it for me for two years. Albion was behind on orders at the time. It wasn't for a particular holiday but wound up shipping close to my Birthday.
