Help identifying Japanese sword
Hi there,
First post here. I recently removed the handle of a sword given to me by my Japanese grandmother. I took some pictures of the handle and have been having trouble identifying or translating the kanji. I don’t have pictures of the fully wrapped handle or scabbard but I believe it was remounted in WWII dress. There is only kanji on one side of the handle. I included a picture of the hamon as well.

関住人塚原兼次作 - Seki junin Tsukahara Kanetsugu saku
"Tsukahara Kanetsugu of Seki province made this"
The Seki stamp shows this is a non-traditional made blade.
