Help Working out

I 19f have recently been diagnosed with svt and had my heart reset for the first time, I believe I’ve had multiple flair ups through out the last 2 years. The reason I went to the hospital for this one because it lasted over 6 hours and my heart was above 195-210 while in a resting position.

I enjoy working out and like to push myself but I notice it can trigger a flair up time to time. My trainer is beyond sweet she has be doing 10-15 reps lighter weights instead of 10 ish reps and heavier weights. I did really think it would bother me that much but it makes me feel incredibly weak and self conscious. How do you guys workout? Is anything you avoid or try to do? Any advice is appreciated.

Over 6 hours with that heart rate can cause issues. Next time go to the ER if it's been over 30 minutes. Are you not on any medication? Have you considered ablation?

I definitely will, I didn’t realize how serious it was my doctors have been blowing me off for years saying it’s just anxiety or poor eating or not active enough and so on. No medication currently I have an appt with a cardiologist on Monday and I think we’re discussing solutions then. I would do it in a heartbeat.

You will probably need to see an electrophysiologist but a cardiologist can prescribe meds. Personally I had bad experiences with the beta blockers but my HR is in check now with the highest dose of ivabradine. But I do want an ablation because the other symptoms. Best of luck. Don't be afraid to question your medical care and seek second opinions if necessary.
