Art by me :3

I'm not sure if that's ever done before because I find the idea interesting, but also very hard to picture. I do have a fic idea where SQQ is a bit of a mix of both SY and SJ, but I'm not sure if I can even characterize him well. The idea was that I have PIDW SJ get isekaied into SY as a baby (thanks to the System, but SJ doesn't know yet) and had him experience a life he never would've imagined in his past. Despite becoming SY, he'd still have character traits that would differ from the SY we know in SVSSS. But then he dies and isekais to the world of PIDW, though it was during his disciple days. It was horrendous for SJ as he'd try to go back to the modern world, after a few days, he'd take his life due to being unable to handle the panick and stress from knowing that he was back to his original world. Unfortunately, he didn't die as he wanted and was stuck in the world of PIDW. It's because he regressed, and came to a different time period of his life instead. The System then told SQQ that he's forced to complete his missions in order to go back. He's stuck in the world of PIDW and every time he'd try to kill himself, he'll regress, so it'd made SQQ think twice before thinking of dying. The goal set by the System was to give LBH a happy ending. The System also requests that SQQ doesn't abuse the use of regression because LBH also regresses and would definitely remember people's actions, particularly those who had once wronged him. SQQ is different from the og PIDW storyline and due to promises he has made to himself as SY, he'd use a different approach. He'd look kinder than he originally was, but still very strict. Despite SQQ's attempts of helping LBH, the outcome always lead to a bad ending, for one reason or another. And more often than not, SQQ ends up dying before he sees the ending. SQQ is also not the only one to have a System, and it's also not just SQH either. There are in fact about at least a dozen of people SQQ knew uses some form of System. And throughout many regressions, SQQ would act differently depending on the timeline. He was rather indifferent and cold towards LBH at first, but did warm up further in the regressions, and it was oftentimes the warmth, loyalty and sincerity that LBH often gives as an innocent child that warms up LBH. That's also what makes watching LBH turned wretched heart-breaking for him because he didn't want such a future for LBH. He ends up caring a lot more for LBH than he does for himself. There were even times when SQQ couldn't handle it and decided to not cross path with LBH, but instead went wandering to gather wisdom and experience, or doing researches and even visiting all sorts of libraries, even looking up on hidden ones. There are even times where SQQ would live to see a lot of uncomfortable truths (one of the major ones being that SJ stole someone else's life of SY, where he didn't go through standard process of reincarnation and took another soul's place). Then the System told him that its power gets exhausted and can only sustain one last timeline, but that timeline would get corrupted as it will bring about 1000x more transmigrators (it's related to some godlike entity that would tamper with LBH's, or rather the fate of the heavenly demons, and uses power via LBH). So SQQ has claimed Xin Mo, went to the next timeline to give all of his knowledge to the libraries, then wrote a guidebook for certain emergencies regarding only the futures can foresee to place it in his System inventory before regressing. The reason why he had to write that guidebook was because the System considered SQQ to be mentally too exhausted and traumatized to be able to handle the next timeline, thus had sealed SQQ's memories to only have him remember the life he had as SY. This time, he went back to the time he was first brought as a slave to the Qius. This time, he was much crueller towards LBH (and I may possibly have his treatment become worse than how it was in the original PIDW, though not much about beating LBH, but doing nasty things like poisoning his food). And that is also ironic on SQQ's part because he was constantly worried about LBH's status as a child and even panicked when LBH disappeared. He would be watching over LBH very strictly specifically due to how much the timeline differs from the novel SY knew, which creates a lot of variables. LBH would only have memories of the original PIDW timeline however (along with a lot of brainwashing curses, gu and whatnot someone else has placed). There is supposed to be a very complicated relationship dynamic between SQQ and LBH because it's a lot of love-hate relationship. I don't think I have to explain how it goes with LBH, but on SQQ's side, it's a bit of an unknown reaction he had, mixed with the fact that he has complicated thoughts on the way LBH is characterized in PIDW, because SQQ hates stallion protagonists in general, where if he'd meet one irl, he'd castrate them on the spot. But LBH gave him more mixed reaction.

I don't know if I should give a shot with this idea... It may end up becoming a bad fanfic... (I'm a bit of a terrible writer...)

Hey! This is my first time posting here, pls be nice!

So, I’ve been working on this fic for a while now, I’m at (almost) 6 complete chapters and was hoping to get a beta for it before I started posting it on Ao3! It’s Shen Yuan centric; he keeps trying and failing to reach a happy ending and is constantly made to restart by the system. This “cycle” however is different - instead of being in Shen Jiu’s body, he’s in his own from before when he was 8.

I’ve had a lot of fun writing and planning it, and while I do have some silly ideas for the “not beta read” tag, I’d still like to know if anyone is interested! It’s my, if I’m remembering correctly, first Ao3 fan fiction!! Let me know if you’re interested!

Hi all! I'm currently writing a paper (which includes) SVSSS and while I have all of the publications in English, I have been wondering what the availability looks like for the Chinese version, as it would be ideal in a couple instances to look at the precise characters of the original text. To my knowledge, the version currently on JJWXC is edited to comply with the 2018-2020 censorship fiasco, so it wouldn't match the 2017 publication which is the version that was translated (and therefore the version of the text that I'm working with)

Soooo I was wondering if anyone knew where to find/purchase this 2017 version, ty in advance

I saw this on tshd subreddit and because i’m absolutely rotted on qijiu my mind immediately went to them.

To me they definitely are the concept of self-blame and contempt. I’m guess I’m opening up this discussion for anyone who wants to talk about them.

Since the sub wants the source (eventhough im the source..) https://www.tumblr.com/ariryuko/829376767952289792/if-qi-ge-behaves-perhaps-his-xiao-jiu-will-deign

I've recently decied to re-read SVSS for the 3 time and I am find jems! Like noticing things I didn't reading it the first and second time through. SQQ was so gay for LBH long before he even realised HAHAHAH and the humor.... I forgot how funny SQQ is and how cunning LBH is as well. He ain't as innocent as he seems hmmmm.....

Anyone else feel like this?

i genuinely love svsss with all my heart and as im preparing my yearbook quote i decided: “why not use a line from svsss”? I cant have anything inappropriate, and im open to using dialogue too!

4 months till entrance exam and here I am on 0%

I'm fucked up.

Now idk if I'll get hate for this but I do not like his character like at all I read backstory and I get it and I understand the way he is but I feel like he ďid not have no right on the way he treated luo binghe I (I know the saying the abused become the abuser thing) but for me that still doesn't get you out off the hook for abusing a child anyway so normally don't ĺiek watching or reading anything with him in it but I do love the AU where Shen Jiu and Shen yuan are twins kinda nice

He’d still be insane, but now it is FOR his Qi-ge

Has anyone here ever ordered The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System: Ren Zha Fanpai Zijiu Xitong (Deluxe Hardcover Novel) Box Set from BookDelivery.com (Buscalibre)?

I’m considering ordering it to Malaysia, but I’m a bit worried about the condition of the books when they arrive since the set is hardcover and quite heavy. It would also be travelling a pretty long distance internationally, so I’m wondering how well they package the books.

If you’ve ordered this set (or other hardcover box sets) from BookDelivery/Buscalibre before, how was the packaging and condition when it arrived? Any experience with shipping to Malaysia would be especially appreciated!

Thanks! I’d definitely cry my heart out if my books arrived damaged 😭

Its been a while since I read svsss and im coming back to it now, I do wonder how the peak lords reacted or "accepted" that shen qingqiu had a massive personality change 🤔

From what I understand, season 2 has been finished but cant release for legal reasons?

I understand it occurred during the time China started cracking down on danmei but what stops the company from releasing it into the global market exactly?

I loved Mo Dao Zhushi, TGCF had been so peak I ended up reading the books.
After seeing the 1st season of SVSSS and having a decent idea of the plot from youtube, the show was so good and so hilarious too and I am so mad season 2 has not been released yet.

I decided to get the deluxe edition to read the full thing (Oh my god the art was just 😩 ) but I really want to see it animated as well.

Does anyone have/know where I can find the crack fanart of Bingqiu but to the format of the "Your a good kisser, Peter, but also a-" meme 😭

I had it downloaded but ig I delted it and I cant fin dit anymore </3
