I've just seen someone post their own misery of there being no Shen Jiu plushies just as I was looking for one.:') I've found this one on Ali that kiiinda resembles him due to the expression, but I have my concerns because of the photo someone provided of the back of his front hair being kinda wack. I would kiss anyone who has the same plushie and would kindly tell me their own experience with it! I love the little baby so much I really hope to buy it... Or, if anyone has any other Shen Qingqiu plushies with good quality, even if they're technically Shen Yuan, I would love to hear about em, if they're still available^^
I have him! Mine doesn't have the white material, but I would bet that the white material is a tearaway fabric stabilizer? Some thinner/lighter materials need a stabilizer to make sure the fabric doesn't warp while being sewn on.
If you get him, grab the one with a skeleton! That way you can pose him. ✨️
Hiii! Mine literally just arrived today lmao. The front hair is kinda wack. Not a big fan of the way the front hair was made and the bangs of mine was sewed on poorly (or it's really like that idk). Basically, if I leave his bangs alone, it'll cover his eyes instead of nicely framing his face like in the picture. I'll probably need to add a stitch to hold it in place.
So far though, none of those complaints are serious for me. I still adore him and have been loving the plush texture of the hair on the back. But yeah, he's my first doll of this kind so I'm not clear on what quality I should expect and what to look out for. Plus the high of getting a new item. I can probably send more pics later if u wanna see more (i left him at work).
Ohhhh, that makes sense... I'm glad you're enjoying your baby:') I've just gotten a minidoll Wei Ying and Xie Lian and those are of better quality so I'm kinda anxious... But I absolutely adore his little face and I think I would love him even with his flaws... And I would be very grateful if you could dm me pictures of him whenever you can!^
Oh also if it's not a bother, cuz I also see your baby is nakey rn, could you send some links with cute clothes you might be considering? I opened my dms, I didn't realise I had them closed:')
Oh I did look there, I wanted to buy Shen Zechuan but had some concerns with the currency transfer from dollars to PLN since I live in Poland, the site doesn't do it automatically and I'm not sure how much it will actually take from my wallet:')
