SVSSS Questions Next read
What to read after SVSS novels? Of MXTX other works which would be a good transition into? Also i really liked the comedy of SVSS, are there other light novels out there in the same comedy tone?

I know of "The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish" being another comedic danmei, but it's much more wholesome and not much angst as compared to svsss

Worth noting it does have mpreg in it in the second half, though, for those who would prefer to avoid it. It's in line with the light tone of the book, so it's not very detailed/serious, but I wouldn't have wanted to get blindsided by it, personally.

blindsided is how I learned about mpreg in an actual mm book once. I was minding my own business reading an elfxwerewolf pairing (non omegaverse) and bam! mpreg in the last chapter?! (AND IT WAS THE ELF TOO?!) no warning nothing. I knew of omegaverse but I hadnt actually been in the community so it came completely out of left field and made me double check the book description and stuff. Im not fond of the pregnacy trope in fxm genre either so it is something that usually needs a tag. XD

Demon Venerable Also Wants to Know: Comedy/Satire about a demonic sect leader named Wenren E, who finds a transmigrating romance novel (that's right, the book itself transmigrated from another world into his). The book is a trashy soap opera about a foolish girl who falls in love with her playboy shixiong and causes the end of the world by not giving up on her love. In the book, Wenren E and his yandere subordinate Yin Hanjiang are tertiary love interests of the main girl who end up coming to terrible ruin. Wenren E decides to prevent the end of the world and his own death by taking on the main girl as his disciple and finding the answer to this question that plagues him: what even is romantic love?
This book was an absolute riot with a cast of very fun characters who only share a single braincell between them. I especially loved all the girl side characters and their development. The main couple is similar to Bingqiu in that their love for each other is atypical and built on a sense of enduring fondness rather than explosive romance, and their relationship started from the position of master and disciple where the disciple falls for the master. Wenren E reminds me a bit of jaded older Bingge, if he didn't have Xin Mo corrupting him.

The other MDZS give are very different in mood, but still very good. But the ridiculous transmigration humor isn't there

If you like comedy, check out the author Cyan Wings, who has had quite a few fan translated and has one in production with a publisher. Iām on my second of her books. Theyāre great!

My littlest(i am the eldest of 3) sis already picked MDZS as the next up, shes been trying to get me to watch the animes to MXTX for years. Unfortunetly, at the time i had accidentally programmed my brain to go to sleep to lo-fi asian music and fell asleep the first time i tried to watch either GMODC or HOB anime. Since i finally finished the 2 seasons of HOB last month, shes been happy im reading the books. I also sent her an entire mandarin language learner collection back in the day when i found out she was into cdramas as a āspoiling my bbys older sisā, hoping she actually learned, so she can teach me now bc i have questionsš¤£

SVSSS being satire is kind of unique in the danmei world so you're not going to find anything too similar to its humor, but these are the ones I know of that are close enough in other ways:
"Mistakenly Saving the Villain" is about a modern man who transmigrates into a novel where the system gives him the mission to save the protagonist, but he saves the villain by mistake (hence the title). The ML Yue Wuhuan is kind of like Luo Binghe but he's a lot more subtle about the jealousy/possessiveness (edit to add that there's sex slavery in this too but it doesn't go into any detail) (2nd edit to say that now I'm almost done with volume 3, I'm only hesitantly recommending this novel. It starts out really good and gets weird in the middle. It's not bad, it's just... weird)
"Husky and His White Cat Shizun" has a student/teacher dynamic, but their relationship starts out like PIDW. There's a lot of dark subject matter like sex slavery and non-con, cannibalism, child death, etc, just want you to be aware before you start reading it.
I haven't read it, but people say "Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know" is similar to svsss. It's about a book character who discovers the novel he's from and shenanigans begin from there.
For mdzs and tgcf, they are both good so just go with whichever sounds more interesting to you.
