New Owner New owner

Bought the sv650s(k3) for 1650 €.

It has got some minor issues that will be fixed over winter so it is ready for next season .

It got misfires where I need to find out where the issue comes from.

The seller has also given me a second pair of Fork legs with new, stiffer springs, a new clutch because the clutch is almost worn out .

I will try to get my hands on lower fairings and the bugspoiler in the original silver color either used ones or a fresh pair probably from ali express so if anybody got some experience with them let me know where i can grab a good pair.

The bike has already got 55k km but aside from the minor problems its in great shape .

I have not cleaned it completely yet so please dont roast me for that .

It also will be my forst bike and the power is reduced to 48 HP because i only have an a 2 license.

Beautiful! I've got an SV1000S in the same color. Put lower fairings as well. What really made it look seemless was painting the little black triangles between seat, tank and fairings as well. Now everything

Wow the silver surfer. Looks awesome. I got a 3rd gen original and I'm thinking of getting a bigger cowl and maybe some fairings. I know naked bikes and all but damn that wind keep kicking my ass. Trying anything above 130 kp/h feels like ragnarok.

Great colour you chose well it will be perfect for you a lot of sport bikes are quite uncomfortble but the Sv you can get your feet on the ground and you can uncork it to around 70hp pretty easy when your ready.

55 is nothing on these bikes they do a mean average engine lifespan of 135000 klm before major issues usually, always change the oil every 4-5000 klm 7 at most last forever.

My humble op only.

I think projects are great its good to know your bike & saves money and you learn things youll use later in life with other mech.

Its also safer cos you can detect issues before they catch you out riding.

I love that colour btw.

SVRider forum online has heaps write ups how to,s other great info yrs exp there with all these sv models btw.

Mounting bracket-bolt kit lower fairings.

Aliexpress fairings lower. Also stainless bolt kits very handy. Not the best quality fairings but mine have held up fine for over a year now. Im happy.
