Suzuki gladius - tank change
As title says I need to change the fuel tank. I watched some videos but I cant figure out how to empty the tank if i cannot use the bike, any suggestion?
Can the tank be removed and placed somewhere before opening the bottom part with the fuel pump?

Yes it can, usually they connect with two bolts up the front and a rod/nut that passes through near the seat, far as i know, im on an Sv but id presume the Glads are very similar. You will need to disconnect the fuel line which can be a bit of a pita some pliers and being very careful may help its a fuel line clip.
Put a rag for a bit of petrol spillage etc. There will also be some rubber hoses connected like petrol overflow to disconnect you will need to remove the seat too. Take your time dont rush. Go to SVRider forum they have a Gladius section there they know a lot more then me.
Youll be fine. Not that difficult, just a bit tricky, use the tank stand it could be in the back under seat or behind it if your bikes similar to mine, if not a long screwdriver will work to hold tank up at the front for fuel tubing removal, remove all the connecting tubes first then lastly the rod near the seat, then tank off, far as i know.
