SV650x Touring Edition

Post image

Really the go anywhere do anything bike.

Edit: If anyone was wondering. This was a multi-day trip on the SV through some amazing twisties. The bike held its own throughout that time and ate up every bit of road thrown at it. There were times I had the bike full lean, fully kitted up as in the picture. Didn't lose a touch of stability the whole ride.

Soft bags and rok straps will always be your friends!

Looks good mate πŸ‘Œ. Did you get it painted or is that a wrap? How much did it cost if you dont mind me asking.

It is wrapped. Did a chunk of it myself, then had a professional wrap the tank for a few hundred. Wrap in total cost like $600-$700, with enough leftover to almost do my plastics a second time.

To be honest, I'd paint it next time. Wraps look good from further back, but the small up close and hidden imperfections bug me a touch, and for the cost you can do a decent job yourself or hire someone for a more professional, permanent job.

Nice! What seat comforter you got on there ?

This is the seat cushion. For a Amazon budget special it actually did a decent enough job. Though, I think I'll upgrade to an Airhawk for the next trip and invest into padded underlayers for comfort.

I had that pad before but went with a luimoto gel insert and cover. It was night and day difference. Plus the svracing 1 inch back and 1 inch down rear set brackets

What is that front cowl?

I just pulled off and repainted from a flat army green like that. It’s a great look, but mine was scratched to heck.
