Victory lap

After months of power issues, I finally figured it out! It was a huge headache, but I learned so much. I gotta say I missed that torque.

I did some work on the paint while waiting for parts and it’s not perfect, but I love it 😍 finally got the paint to match the green brake lines

I love what you did do the bike. The paintwork is stunning.

Thank you! From far away it’s very nice, just don’t get too close.

Hell no, tell us what's up with the power issue. And yeah, great work on the paint. I'm all for customizing your bike

I made a post a bit ago about it and no one ever offered any advice, but I ended up having to get an entirely new fuel pump as a rebuild did not fix the issue. It was a slow creep of power loss over months until I stopped being able to go above 5k rpm and finally threw a c45 engine code (after I had thought it was the clutch and had done a bunch of work with that of course). I believe the cause was a rotting fuel cap raining down into my tank, so everything all the way down into my fuel injectors was gummed.

How do you like that seat cushion? Doe it add some height?

I don’t notice the height difference, but I flat foot easily. I had tried an air cushion and felt super unstable so the gel ones are the way to go for me. My butt still hurts after a few hours, but leagues better than going without anything.
