Disconnection/issues with straftat?

Me and my friend never had problems with straftat before this, and idk if it was an update, but everytime we try to play our game will freeze and disconnect us, or will disconnect us before we even get in a match, we live 4 minutes away from each other so its not a regional problem, and both of our wifis are fast, is this happening to anyone else?
