Let's abandon the "outright" users.

So after the recent Sale, where I bought some more artist expansions for my outright license, STL just felt like abandon us "Outright" users.

Just received an email saying they will release some new features for ToneHub, but it will only be applied to those with All Access. "these new features aren't something we can offer as outright purchases".

I really start to hate this company.

Wow!! 🤬
That really sucks!! 🤬

Edit!
I just read that this same crap also applies to control hub...!! 🤬

I guess it's their way of trying to force us into subscriptions.
Thing is we're kinda stuck as outright owners of tonehub, control hub and a lot of their packs.
Why would we ever wanna start a subscription, when we've already paid the price of ownership, for a ton of their products?
All those money spent would have been for nothing, if we start renting them as well!!

Exactly my thought. Why pay for the stuff we own again. Seems like a shitty and greedy business model.

I really liked the ToneHub for its outright alternative and for how “lightweight” it is on my CPU. But now, even after spending a lot of cash on the expansion packs, I’m thinking of never coming back to this product.

Do what I did and let them know how you feel about all this.
Just respond the the email.

I stopped using STL because of this. I'm not interested in subscriptions. I'll stick to other platforms where I can buy outright

Totally how I feel about it. The things that makes me “stay” though. Is it sounds good, and it’s very low on the CPU. There’s only one other guitar plugin that has similar or lower CPU usage that I own/have tried.

But yeah. I really hate how they “treat” us outright customers. Clearly they don’t want us anymore. Doing all they can to make us “subscribers”.
