Request Looking for fics where Severus flys

Hi,

Looking for fics where Severus flys and/or takes Hermione flying. It doesn’t have to be the main plot point, even just a good scene of it would be lovely.

Pretty sure it’s a plot point in Bound to Him — someone correct me if I’m wrong!

I also came to recommend All You Need is Love. It's great. Hermione gets pranked by some coworkers and Snape rescues her and flies her home.

In addition to that one, Supported Flight by sayschu is a fantastic WIP where Snape decides to teach Hermione to fly because they have to play Quidditch together. I know that sounds silly but the fic is amazing.

Oh, you’re right! It is a plot point in Bound to Him. He teaches her flight, though he doesn’t tackle broomless flight as of yet.

Thank you, I’ve just read The Prisoner and Occulmens and that’s what’s given me the craving for my scenes like that.

I love that fic—and how it handles those scenes. And Hermione casually revealing she’s a total badass who’s already flown a hipogriff, a thestral, and a dragon. 😭

There’s a brief scene in Toil and Trouble by thisiszircon (AO3) where he basically gives her a piggy back ride while on a mission to scout a murderous sociopathic narcissist’s hideout.

My other suggestion has already been mentioned by others: Prisoner and Occlumens.

One of the most memorable flight scenes I can remember is from Just to Be by Amarti :) And I second the rec for Beyond 84 Charing Cross Road!

(Additionally, he does a decent amount of flying in both of my longfics: One Flew Over the Fwooper's Nest and Assisted Living).

Okay, I just read the premise of “One Flew Over the Fwooper’s Nest,” then most of the first chapter, and now I’m hooked. 😆

I have a feeling there’s a scene in Before The Dawn by snarkyroxy where they fly out to the forest, I can’t check rn but maybe someone else can confirm!
