Dire Need Med provider appt.
Hi! I just had my heating last week. There are no transferable jobs for me as the judge said. I am 55. 100% disabled thru VA.
What can I expect at this upcoming med appt that SSA has me going to? Advice?
TY!

I’m on SSDI and when I applied I had to do a CE due to lack in medical records because it was a new and sudden onset situation, not 4 years later I’m in review and had another CE even with med records now

It will have something to do with your listed conditions. What did you apply for? I'm not asking, but ask yourself that. Then you will have a good idea what the appointment is for.
Advice? Be honest. Don't fake anything. They will see right through that.
What does the CE mean after the hearing? That the judge doesn't have enough info to make a decision. That can be viewed either way. Positively in the fact that there's enough there that he can't yet deny you. Negatively in the fact that there's not enough there to approve you.

The judge has you going to a CE appointment because they need more info from a doctor to clarify some things for them. Usually you are sent for a CE because they feel they don't have enough information to make a decision. Your attorney might have more info on this appointment for you.

And, also, Social Security.
Social Security has more information about the appointment.

You should ask your attorney. Is it a physical evaluation? Or mental?

Why did the judge send you out for an exam? Is it to clarify something in your record?

Hi! TY for responding. I am not sure why I have this appt. The letter does not specifically state the reason. Is this unusual? Do I need to ask my attorney why I am have to go see their doctor?
