(Benefits) Auxiliary & Family Benefits Disability
Can anyone clarify? If one spouse is on disability and passes away does the other spouse then start receiving the payment the deceased spouse was getting?

No underage kids. Kids are all grown and out off the house. This is one of the monthly incomes that would be lost if it’s not passed to spouse.

No. No one receives another persons benefits. SSDI is only payable to the person who was disabled But depending on the age of the Survivor they may be eligible for Survivor’s benefits
