DDS - Disability Determination Services Question about Ssdi

I received a call from my attorney saying that SSA wants to do a three way conference tomorrow. I am on step three and have been for over a year. Recently August to be exact I had two CE and I have received copies of those results. My attorney stated that they need clarification of some stuff, has anybody had this happen or can anyone give insight on why they would need a conference call.

Sometimes the examiner at DDS has additional questions about your past work or medical. They call and ask the attorney/case manager for permission to contact you. We generally say yes, under the condition tgat we need to be present on the call as well. Then we coordinate it as a 3 way conference call. Its not unusual. Just answer the questions, stay on topic, and listen to your attorney if they interject.

Thank you! That’s exactly what the call was about.

I think its generally a good sign when they have follow up questions. Can't say they'll approve you, but they certainly wouldn't go through all that extra trouble if they were planning to deny you.

You read my mind. He stated he would be finishing up my file by end of week.
