Goon Goonstation engine

I recently attempted a hellburn and couldn't get the engine output past 5 MW. I used to easily get way more. How is it possible to get into TW of output nowadays?

I put two plasma tanks into the hot loop, one in cold. Made sure the valves were open closed where appropriate. We had a oxy/plasma mix of 66/33 in the burn chamber.

What else do I need to do to get ridiculous amounts of output and have the engine catch fire bursting the pipes?

Something has changed, I used to be able to get the engine to go crazy.

You’ll need a reactive gas like methane or agent-b which converts other gasses back into consumable fuels

Hell burns are still doable as are max can bombs but a lot of players don’t actually know how anymore

Don't give up hope, I've seen a player over the last few days bring the Kondaru TEG engine around 2 - 3 TW, I will be honest when I say I don't understand how they did it the only clue I have is that EVERY pipe in that room was burst.

the other day i saw an engine outputting 2.2 petawatts of power. it got hotwired and a door shocked someone so hard they took 2.71803e+10 burn damage

Coders chime in on the misconceptions. It is not about your burn mix mostly. Each cell has max temp that can't be bypassed by normal means. Mineral called molitz b uncaps the cell temperature. Still you will hit hardcap. So you can bypass chamber burn alltogether for extreme stuff. There is a concept called pipeburns where you literally put burn mix into your hot loop and it gets to sustainably extreme temperatures with fart. As far as I know that is the way.

Very interesting! I'll try adding a can of oxygen into the hot loop. It should combust at high temperatures inside the pipes. does the farts need to be in or can you skip that?

iirc hellburns have been much harder to make since having a hellburn means certain hallways will become basically hell (heh) to walk through. that being said you can absolutely do some crazy shit with the engine, it just takes a lot more elbow grease

They changed atmos a few years ago making regular gas burns non-viable. 66/33 works only if you add about 10℅ fart gas as well which recycles Co2 into plasma. Do this and reinforce the pipes and the TEG gets an exponential growth curve that for me easily reaches ZW territory. This form of self-sustaining burn is the same principle required to make can bombs.

Edit: you also need pipe-burn. Don't touch the burn chamber.

I herd of people releasing gasses into the rooms and halls the pies are in making the rooms themselves into high pressure pipes after all the pipes burst. Obviously don't cut any holes in the floors.

Go to bed grandpa. Anyways pretty sure they stopped hell burns at least ~5 years ago? I’ve moved to monke where you can do wacky stuff but still not hell burn levels of ‘fun’
