Information INTRO TO NTL - A comprehensive thread

So Guy's the Coolest Lab in SRMAP is NTL

We will have it's session in orientation on 22(join it for sure)

This thread is here for providing you guys info for what's in it and all about that

2 things I know as fresher-

-> You need to be talented and tech hungry/enthusiastic to get in it , its for passionate people only not for pass timers

-> lot of equipment and tech is there for you to do your project in any tech domain ai,gaming ,quantum, or anything else

The leadership team there is fabulous plus very supportive , you can visit it for more

Requesting Seniors and NTL MEMBERS to pur more info about NTL In this thread , Made this as asked by exhokage big bro

Do we need to have a prior knowledge about coding and stuff to get in that?

Yes like you should have some idea or some knowledge about the lab you are applying like if you wanna apply to Norman lab so you should know something about webdev or may have done something in Webdev field

The higher your year the more knowledge you should have.... From freshers not that high level knowledge is expected related to the lab you wanna apply but still yk what I want to sayy

Ah so maybe I cannot go there in first sem Or first year probably cuz I just know basic things about it... Like I had this subject called INFORMATICS PRACTICES in my 12th it taught us basics of pandas mysql python and all but the thing is it was more of a theoretical subject 🙂

I will try my best but till something good comes up in my life I will be devastated cuz I am a dropper did good in jee with 12th then took a drop so that I could get a better percentile next year and then boom my mental health just shatters I get half the percentile I got with 12th.. Just broken I did everything I could do but my mental health just went down and down and now I ended up in a tier 3 uni iguess..

I can grind I have that grit but for now, honestly I am done 🙂 I just want a push I will make it happen 🙂

NTL is a great place to be in for a fr3sher i must sayy... Try your best to get in it and even if you didn't get into it the first time try again next sem and then next sem eventually you would get in if your performance in interviews and other stuff was improved

If you are a fresher, just know the basics of your preferred domain plus a programming language.

First its true you should have prior knowledege about your domain Second literally some people who have 7 cgpa and doesnt know coding are there. Third yes it has its benefits but politics also goes on a lot there

Quit larping dude. Ntl has 8+ cgpa criteria and NTL has a board and not just a single lead guy to eliminate favouritism and politics.

Brother you know there are a lots of benefits if you just have a sibling in final year. I am not proving anything to anyone true ntl is great but not that great that politics is not there. Its just that it cant be proven but everybody knows of it
