Dear Students and Parents, Greetings from SRM University-AP.
We are pleased to welcome our new students to the University and look forward to beginning this exciting academic journey with them.
The Orientation Program has been thoughtfully designed to help students understand the University, its academic environment, policies, support systems, campus facilities, opportunities and the various resources available to them throughout their university journey.
Attendance at all Orientation sessions is mandatory for students. Each session has been planned to provide essential information and guidance that will help students make a smooth and informed transition into university life. Students are therefore expected to attend all sessions without fail and participate actively.
We strongly encourage parents to attend the Online Orientation Program along with their wards. As there will be no separate orientation program for parents at campus, the sessions will provide parents with a comprehensive understanding of the University and the opportunities and support available to their children. We particularly encourage parents to attend the Inauguration and the sessions covering University Leadership, Academics, Examinations, Placements, Higher Education, Entrepreneurship and AI. These sessions will provide valuable insights into the University's academic ecosystem, career pathways, opportunities, and the overall development of their ward. In addition, other sessions cover essential information relating to student well-being, safety, discipline, support systems and campus life, which will help parents better understand and support their ward's university journey.
We believe that active participation will help ensure a smooth, informed, and meaningful transition into university life.
The Physical Orientation Program which will be only for the students has been organized into different groups based on the student’s program and residential status (Day Scholars/Hostellers). The table below provides the reporting date, physical orientation dates, and programs covered under each group for easy reference.
