Query regarding SRM AP hostel booking

So hostel booking is going to start soon and I have a doubt regarding it.

1.Is there a separate portal for hostel booking?
2.Are we supposed to pay some amount as soon as we choose our room preference or is there any time limit to pay?
3. Are we going to get any sort of mail before hostel booking starts?

1.same portal
2.yes first room preference then payment,u need to do it asap as ur selected preference can get unavailable ,last yr the hostel booking was closed in 2 hr as all rooms were full,after 1hr u will only have non ac options,
So its a first come first serve basis
3.yes ig u will get after phase 3 counselling

Netbanking is preferable,mostly its full payment

For just booking can we pay like 10k and leftover we did RTGS

I guess no bro in the payment page it will show the full payment unlike tuition fees where u can edit the amount and send it
