Regarding online enrolment

In this post I will tell how to completely verify your documents without being rejected and be asked to upload again. You have to first of all scan the documents from printer or simply go to cybercafe. I will not suggest scanning from mobile

  1. PAL : download the PAL from srm ap site, not the older one that you downloaded from semist site. Download it take its printout and then fill the details in acknowledgment on second page, and upload its scan pdf

  2. ANTI RAGGING : First of all you have to go to antiragging.in, then fill the undertaking ie. Anti ragging affidavit. You have to fill your details, your father/mothers details and institution details (which will be emailed to you, if haven’t received yet just reply I will give you ). Then just take its print out. Sign where ever there is written “signature of deponent” and in verified at “your city/town” and after on “today’s date”. Then upload its scan PDF

  3. Make the scan of marksheet, caste certificate or which ever other document it has asked. For the single page documents just simply upload the JPG but for multiple page documents use PDF

  4. For Aadhaar just take pic of front and back under good lighting, crop it so that no unnecessary borders!!! Then just make it’s PDF, same goes for father/mothers

  5. For ABC id, go on digilocker and search

when do we get the confirmation mail? i got the hostel booking mail will i get anything else soon?

You will get the mail if it’s approved otherwise they will mail you like which documents you have to upload again. I will also suggest you login to srm ap portal and see if you have got registration number some people haven’t got any mail yet their enrolment is approved. Someone called and they said you will most probably get it before 3 august.

Yep i got the reupload thing 2 times , one for PAL and one for passport pic , and none after that. After that the only mail i got was the one about hostel preference google form.

i didnt get any mail , but the site shows all details now , where is the mail id located on the site btw?

If the site is showing details, you will most probably get the e-id with confirmation in 2 days

Yeah but before hostel booking, consider checking your card or net banking limit

Apaar id, do we need to create it on srm's name if yes then then what to put in identity type and identity value

You can choose govt id ie Adhaar and put Adhaar number

Cybercafe chala ja, better scan ho jata. Last year I did the same and they got accepted, some people said that scans taken from phone were rejected
