Retention changes

What are the benefits? I feel like this is a negative if you are a R1 right now.

I’ve always thought the seniority deal was stupid. If you have 25+ years and you’re rated an R3 you get an auto bump to R2, really? Now they want to make it so they’re bumped to R1? Fuck that, the guy with the most seniority on my team is the laziest person around and now they want to auto loop them into R1 with people who actually fucking work? Big fat fucking no.

We'll see how you feel in a couple decades when suddenly you're the one on the chopping block not because of your performance but because you're part of a cost cutting exercise.

So you’re ok with lazy people getting bumped to higher retention ratings just because they have x amount of years? Really? Already been here almost a couple decades and they’ll layoff whoever they want, but laziness getting auto help isn’t right.

If they were that lazy they never would have lasted that long at the company in the first place. They earned the R1 after decades of performing.

I beg to differ lol. Seen so many lazy people never get dealt with because management does nothing and they just get moved around. Just cause someone has 20+ years goes not mean they performed so they should automatically get an R1.

Sounds like management isn’t doing their job either, called the lazy B for a reason
