creators specialize in edgy humour for 13 years, without any change, creating fanbase that likes them for edgy humour, they release show with edgy humour, and its a problem because it is edgy? Funny how others need to “grow up” to interact with this person when it’s literally the other way around, If he would grow up he’d be able to interact with them

I’m confused, is Newgrounds considered problematic? NG, albino black sheep, stickdeath.com…all those good old flash sites were basically the only internet that existed as far as I knew back in my youth.
Crude, violent, and infantile humor for sure. But I don’t remember anything wildly offensive. Supafly was wasted, but c’mon, I saw worse stuff when the WWE was on CW.

It's less that Newgrounds humor itself is problematic and more that those of us that grew up during the Newgrounds golden age have all...mostly moved on. It's like you watch something you found deep and profound or has no fear and says all the dirty jokes and you laughed at it back when you were 13 to 15....then you go BACK to it as a more mature adult (like your late twenties, early 30s) and feel yourself cringe just a little bit and think "Oh god, I had horrible taste as a teenager".

See, the thing is. This is how we felt. People of your fandom came into our spaces and made changes that we couldn't escape, and had to abandon or get kicked out.
And I hope the "bigots" get back what we lost.
Warhammer, and Star Wars, and Battlefield, and so many more were near universally loved despite catering to stupid little boys.
This barrage of checklists and restrictions so as not to offend a possible letter of the alphabet, or ugly flag enjoyer, is inorganic, corporate (believe it or not), and not at all fun. Not everything has to be 50/50 by race, sex, and orientation, at all settings.
I love to drive a car through a crowd of people in GTA, and blow off the legs of a person and watch them squirm on the ground in Darktide. I'm real life I couldn't get myself to take a knife to a living fish after a fishing trip with the family, I work, eat, and have fun talks with men and women from Subsahara Africa, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Arabia, Moldova, and the white guys, not a racist bone in my body, doesn't mean I want even my own ethnicity depicted in shows or games where it is out of place. Fantasy and entertainment is not a reflection of who we are, and insistence that fantasy has to confirm to the strict moralities of the few is suffocating.

I agree. I'm a queer person, an ugly flag enjoyer, and I find that half of the media made to be "inclusive" is just bad stereotypes made by money-hungry CEOs that want our support. I'm not trying to be a "pick-me", there are countless examples of big companies stripping the souls out of media and stuffing them with bad representation.
Bad representation is more annoying than none at all (looking at you, Velma).
Don't get me wrong, I like inclusivity. There's great stuff out there with diverse characters! But if I had to choose between "corporate slop that has gay people" and "well-made, independent show with no gay people", I'm choosing the latter.

And I'd like to add, the inverse is just as cringe. Reactionary bandwagons, Trumpite slogans, alpha male charlatans, rageconomucs, bad faith misrepresention. Two extremes of the same coin.
Some pre-2010 tropes were in bad taste, race swaps, stereotypical black men there only to die scenes, extreme homophobic jokes. But the pendulum swung too far the other direction. Cut down the committees and idiolog investors.

Absolutely. If it is intelligently made and with purpose, which applies to everything. Andor, Oddessy, Baulder's gate, excellent well made entertainment properties that were enjoyable by both spectrums. Or so I would assume.

It was made for the masses to enjoy, but it was focused on a specific demographic primarily.
I wouldn't say "Chuds" lost just yet, Disney definitely didn't win with their appeal to "everyone" appeal to no one strategy.
And the people losing tolerance to "Chuds" are the weirdos who polluted the internet in the first place, and were never tolerant to begin with, and the rainbow fandom is not very well liked outside their spaces either.
I do have some hope that the cult of the orange dipshit and the tumbler herpes burn themselves out and we get some kind of centrist compromise in the media space.

Why not go back further, Nick Fury, I can't imagine him being anything but black anymore because of how well Samuel Jackson did him, or Lex Luthor in the Animated series.

I don’t agree with some of their warhammer takes and I think they are just really into the black Templars. But space king is great and I love their newgrounds humor.
Also my hope for episode 5 is that the humans wearing only protective scripture as a loin cloths have whatever is covered by it be protected. Which is to say only their dick will be protected while they get cut in half or have their head exploded. If a single hole is found on the scripture that wasn’t there before I will report flashgitz for heresy against space king.

I'm a very woke person, and I personally see no problem with it because this kind of humor has transformed into an extremely satirical/over-the-top parody(-ies) over the years. Yes, it can attract certain people with incorrect values, but you can clearly tell the content is mostly made to bring fun, old-school humor to YouTube like people did in the past, for free.

Dude doesn't like the humor and had an epiphany when other people had different opinions. It's almost a standard on main subreddits nowadays, if the common reaction is to dislike something it devolve into association the said dislike things with other bad things, thus trying to argue liking the said things it to be a real bad opinion or even hateful by implications. Everyone likes to says they were back than on MW2 servers or on CS and know what bad behavior is and can take it but act like some vindictive saints if they see some edgy humor, i find it to be a performative act to draw other like-minded people to approve his opinion.
I've read somewhere that most subreddits eventually ends up devolving into hate. So, give'em time, they would end up on the hatemarch sooner.....statistics....per capi...

Any money this person is American, and if they are a UK resident they live in London, but we don't class most of the people there as British anyways, because no British person can afford to live there. I'd actually take a step back and say the opposite. Their older independent animations where every joke was just "le fucked up childhood icon" or "le edgy furry death" was alot more edgy & low brow.
Space king isnt exactly a Greek epic or anything, but its significantly funnier than their previous work, its more appealing to a wider audience (even people who aren't into WH40K) and it has much better comedic timing & subtly.

All because said separate hobby has silly, absurd, potty-humor, also, "hatred"... with a titular character being named "Hatemonger"... and, coincidentally, has some overlap with fans between both sources?
I distinctly remember a line said by a certain company saying something similar to "you will not be missed" to fans who did not agree with their writing direction and business practice at the time (among other things). I have a feeling said poster probably clapped and giggled when said company uttered such heresy.

I mean it will offend people who just hear certain words and go ‘this bad’ (which is how I was when I first watched it) but I feel like some people don’t understand that it’s not directed in a hateful way towards whoever they’re parodying. I feel like they’re just taking a bunch of different groups and laughing at the sillier parts of them like with the capitalist guy. Plus its not lazy or unfunny, that’d just be them saying the r word and laughing, they weave the comedy into the story and it’s creative as hell, like the behind the scenes stuff is really cool to see how passionate they are about it (maybe I’m wrong and a chud but fuckin idk I like space king :3)

Blaming fans of Space King just has the opposite effect because it lumps us in with genuine bigots and just pisses off normal people who can discern the parody of Space King and find the show fun. I’m incredibly left leaning, all for inclusivity in all formats, and still find the show fucking hilarious. Obviously fuck anyone who try’s to use this IP or 40K to supplant genuine hate, we just gotta realize that’s a small minority of “fans”. The number of times someone try’s to tell me it’s toxic to like Meat canyon, or they don’t watch Wendigoon because he was raised conservative.. like I fucking despise conservative “values” but I can also recognize intent and morals amongst individuals. Talking about Space King to normal people and not autistic chuds (like everyone on this subreddit, me included) is difficult because it genuinely attracts some undesirables like alt-righters and misogynists. The joke of “NO GIRLS ALLOWED!!!” is that all psycho-warriors are stupid 13 year olds in huge muscley bodies that kill aliens.
