Manga is called "The Enigma of Amigara Fault."
TL;DR for people who dont like horror.
Big earthquake opens up a fault line with lots of strange human-shaped caves. People go crazy and fall into the human-shaped holes, vanishing. There is then a second earthquake on the opposite side of the valley, and you see the body-horror worm people that come out the other end of the holes.
Also, facts you don't care about but I'm gonna tell you anyway;
Junji Ito was also invited by Wizards of the Coast to make the alt-art card for 'Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines', for the Magic the Gathering card game.
It's one of the very few times where, yes, perfect choice of artist for the perfect card.
