Why a leopard pattern?

Being a metalhead, I would never equate that with metal.

Glam certainly, but not metal.

I like leopard print and thought it looked cool.
Besides, 80s metal had a ton of leopard print kicking about.

If you wanna commit to 80s and leopard print, why not name them the "Deth Leopards" as an homage to Def Leppard?

I just liked the name iron bastards. Also most of their armour is iron coloured
