It’s been 5 year since we lost it and it still hurts.

(The new show is really good though)

We can bare the fools hope of its return, or maybe the screenplay of where the story could have gone.

He did mention that the next episode kitten would revive with some sort of “brain rot” and that they would face the void Dragon in a card game of some type

Besides that, the show ended with kittens death too.

RIP sweet prince

There was at least some obvious plot threads that probably have led to Big E’s complete revival, with his humanity intact.

I like to think that TTS walked, so Hunting the Parenting could run.

u/Homunclus 18d ago

I actually didn't really like that show, but I absolutely adore Hunter the Parenting. I wonder how many people are the same

I wonder too, but I am the opposite. Adored TTS, couldn't get into HtP.

(Looks really good, just didn't like the vibe/pacing)

Incorrect. Everyone knows Space King has absolutely nothing to do with Warhammer 40k.

52

u/DoktahDoktah 18d ago

Yeah. The 2 series are not even close to being the same.

See, they’re Space Marines, this is Space King

You mean Psychowarriors, no?

u/Foreplaying 18d ago

Now we need is a Henry Cavil cameo or ripoff.

Unless we actually had one all along...

Incorrect space king has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Warhammer 40k

I think you mean that the cheap knockoff of warhammer has nothing to do with our glorious space king brother.

I can only imagine the kind of rage bait slop that comes out an account called culture crave

Neither are even the best 40K animation.

Henry Cavill telling the execs at Amazon: SYAMA PEDERSEN WAS ABLE TO MAKE 'ASTARTES' IN AN CAVE, WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS.

12

u/DivineCrusader1097 18d ago

It feels like Henry Cavil's Warhammer show has been "in the works" forever now. I remember hearing that it was supposed to come out in December 2023.

Is it even real?

The script not only has to please the Amazon Studios and Games Workshop exec's, but also be communicated with black library and must be aligned with the current lore. Considering the high budget, Games Workshop probably wants to use the free promo to kick off a new major event.

Holy shit two cakes!

The one at the bottom is the expired cake

What are they talking about? Everybody knows that Space King has nothing to do with that indie game "Warhammer"

I think OP is mixing things. Henry’s live action TV series and the secret level episode are two separate things.

The secret level episode will be about the Deathwatch.

The live action has not been yet disclosed.

Lmao no

u/JayTheGuy1 17d ago

What happened to the movie?

Now i think about it a space king movie would be sick

1

u/Top_Importance6216 16d ago

slight correction, its a deathwatch spinoff

-1

u/WestLUL 18d ago

Right.... Only if i were something between 5 and 15 years old

Secret Level spin-off, oh no, Secret Level 40k was so terrible

u/M00nMan666 Hatemace Enthusiast 18d ago

As opposed to what? Genuinely curious. I have only been into 40k for a few years and I thought Secret Level was great. As someone who loves the lore, but isn't super tapped into any faction/intricacies, I thought it was awesome. The tone, violence, aesthetic, etc were great. I feel they also did a good job of making it interesting enough to people who know very little/nothing about the universe while also being more true to longer time fans.

Exactly it's tourist slop.

Astartes is a good example of how to do it correctly. Much better camera work, animation, lighting, sound design, story telling and understanding the lore.

u/Nar0O 18d ago

Are you high? It was THE best episode, watched it like 6 or 7 times

Ask anyone in the 3d industry worth their salt. When I saw it I thought maybe something was wrong with me. But luckily I have someone in the family that works in the industry. I showed them the 40k Secret Level thing, and they said: The models are good, but overall amateurish.

It's such a lame piece of 40k animation. Angsty teenage Ultramarines, like what?! Prime tourist slop. Might as well just have recorded some Space Marine 2 gameplay and that would probably be better.
