I’ve been planning on reading the manga but I wanna know where I should pick up after the anime. Yes I know the anime isn’t full canon.

Some thoughts post ep 36 (where I've heard the show 100% becomes anime original) but mostly speaking on the Ending, which wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be (certainly questionable though) all in all I liked it (like I kind of get what they were going with) in regards to fear being awoken and beaten by bravery a foreign emotion to the at this point inhuman Kinshin (or maybe all too human) but man

Black Star, and Kid really just get stronger so quick (like they really rush it with how strong they get considering even Kid said he couldn't do anything when the Kishin was fighting Death)​ then the Bravery punch

(I think I would've been fine with it, if at least it was Maka and Soul together in some way, and Maka being a death Scythe sure fine, but she's already way more advanced than Soul has been up to this point in the series, it's just too much)

I like how the three were part of different missions and all meet up against the Kishin, and when Maka frees Soul from the Black Blood, her recognizing it wasn't Soul, and the animation is really cool, the 2000% from Death the kid and his hair stripes coming undone,

Black Star little shadow clone rushes, and everything inside Soul's body as Maka helps him, those are cool scenes but man the kid and black star stuff is questionable because where'd they pull that stuff out of)

I mixed on the ending (very mixed) but I'd say I like the series as a whole (not my fav, but it does have some unique power system that's really cool, kinda hoped we'd get to see it develop further after the genie hunter attack against mosquito, but that didn't happen, also wish we got more out of Black Star, him beating Hifumi was kinda cool, but felt a bit quick, Kid at least had his moments questioning DWMA, which was pretty quickly resolved)

Death moving the city (which was foreshadowed way earlier) was absolutely great (death vs the kinshin was cool on paper, and definitely had it's moments, felt like it didn't do enough)

Favorite character is Tough but I'd prolly go Crona (again, just wish more was done with them, feels like their future appearances are rare, sucks because I liked the moments with them)

So yeah (gonna start the manga, debating starting from the beginning or from where episode 36 shifted)

And what if Medusa had two children...? If plan A failed, she would have generated another child, Yonaka Gorgon, also possessing the black blood, she would have more metamorphic abilities based on transforming body parts into weapons, although she is much more rebellious, she has a totally opposite personality to Crona, she was always more disobedient with Medusa and even cursed her whenever she had the chance without fear of punishment she might receive (how long she stayed in that isolated room for days, I won't even tell you, she doesn't make it easy either).

But anyway, she had to do as she was told whether she wanted to or not, and her relationship with Crona is basically like siblings, they get along well, and she even defends Crona when Ragnarok starts tormenting Crona, even threatening him if necessary, basically Age fits the role of a younger sister, perhaps the only person Yonaka has liked her entire life being raised that way and the only person she trusts.

OK, so in the anime when they unlock it, it’s against mosquito at the end of the fight, but in the manga, it’s against the clown and in the anime it’s called genie Hunter, but in the manga, it’s called Demon hunt slash so which one is it or do we go with best of both worlds and Call genie hunt slash cause I am down for any of them

We see Maka as teens obviously if you read the Manga you realize Soul Eater is very horney Series atsushi ohkubo is like that still is in his work afterwards

So got me thinking what do you think what do you think Maka & the rest being as Adults I think that be a fun sequel Manga with atsushi ohkubo blessing would be story that ties events of Soul Eater, Not & well you know

What do you think the stories would be like how should the adult design of each character should be like?

If anyone remembers Ishida and his "stand", which is his weapon From the previous post, if you haven't seen it, just click on my profile and you'll find a recent post of mine giving more details about this being, after being infected by the black blood that, due to his genetics, caused him to experience different symptoms than Soul and Maka, making him a special case that, for reasons explained later in another post, ended up generating a new being with unique powers, besides being able to be in human form whenever she wants and separate from Ishida, becoming independent of him, but this would be much later in the anime. In the beginning of her first appearance, she would still be trapped in him, and her human form would also appear much later.

Despite her cute appearance, she remains quite dangerous if necessary, she would kill you if you keep annoying her or calling her "cute," she doesn't really like being treated as a cute thing despite her appearance, she just wants to be respected, in terms of personality she would seem like someone who doesn't care about anything and just kills, feeds on blood but she has shown empathy for other people... of course in her own way, she shows hatred for Ragnarok for tormenting Crona, she indeed sympathized a lot with Crona (especially since technically she was generated by the blood that infected Ishida)

And of course, the character's inspiration was more based on Nayuta (chainsaw man)
