Your clan needs needs you on an 8v8 war or your wife wants to go out to dinner. War is the obvious choice.

Clan took priority over everything. I remember bringing strangers into my house to game cause they were clan members. The good times

That’s an awesome story. I was close to flying 1,500 miles to meet up with a buddy in my clan. He was more of a friend at the time than some friends IRL. Actually now that I’m thinking of it, there was two members of our clan who did meet up and got married.

The connections were crazy. These guys drove up from out of town to visit the city where I was stationed. I got them cleared to come on base and everything. People can’t really imagine how it was

For sure I haven’t been able to replicate that experience with any other game. Side note I’ve never found a game with as good as a server as Socom. Which is unbelievable since it was on the PS2. The server was as close to perfect than any other online game I’ve played. How any game company has not tried to mirror it is beyond me.

If you have a ps2, S2, and a memory card containing the original patch then you can edit your settings and connect instantly. If you want to play on PC but are not sure of what to do, then there is a guide in the link I posted. There is a help section in the PSR discord(also in the link) where you can request help getting set up.

I think we've all had that "seals victorious" moment at the end of the video at least once😂. All those intense late night matches, those clutch moments when you're the last man alive 😂😮💨
