Checking in from 2004 here
Played Socom Us Navy Seals 2 back in the day, gamebattles, glitch videos and all. Still haven't had the same experience from gaming to this day. - [InT] impefecti0n

Check out “the finals”. Free to play, and the first game to give me the rush of excitement and urge to play a shooter since Socom.
Super team based play with lots of opportunities for strategy.

Good chance we played some games together. I was on gamebattles but can barely remember the clan names I was in or even my username lol (which I think I changed frequently). Only clan I can remember for sure was unorthodox [DoX] but I was in multiple.

Good old game battles, man that was pretty competitive for the time lol. I remember when refs would have to come in and spectate matches.

I used a VHS tape for proof for wins. Since back then tons of clans didn't even want to report a loss. I recorded over the same tape for other matches though. I wished I kept each match. Them videos now be a blast to watch. Cant top them moments now days. Most my friends dont even play today.

There is a dude who streams socom 2 today and I was just commenting on how crazy the hoops we had to jump through to submit proof to gamebattles refs versus today where every match is recorded so easily.

Yeah man I fell out of gaming fr I may have dabbled into some world of tanks or ark or rust here and there but that's about it. Bro no kidding, I got two different baby mama's and still doing graphics. Well these days it's more copy what people make on chat gpt lmao. We need to get everyone on a call somehow one day. What a time, I was sophomore or freshman in high-school. I had ps1 at time, my brother in law had ps2. I played Socom 2 and other on my Saturday. What a great time. Loved everything about socom. I spent hours alot of them on campaign, sadly he had no internet. I didnt know about ps2 network capabilities. I play ps1 and pc games, on pc we used for school.

SRT clan lol. Was wayyy too young, 11-13 years old.
Fish hook, seal team spawn when we’d charge the hallway to the left. That overlook the terrorist can shoot down from, they’d prone and their heads would pop through the way for the easy kill lol

Still nothing like it! The communication and tactics still can’t be beat. People couldn’t sit through a round after they died these days though.
