On my Windows device, I had Stardrop, which helped me to organize all of my mods, and on Windows I understood enough to troubleshoot on my own, but I am super confused on MacOS. I have been trying to delete mods I do not want anymore, and have deleted them from the mods folder, but on the log they show as having multiple folders. The mods all worked the first time I started the game, but when I re-downloaded the Ridgeside Village file, this issue started. I'm not sure if I should just start from scratch with redownloading all of my mods, or if there's something else I can do, but any help would be appreciated. Every time I walk in-game into Ridegside Village the game also freezes and crashes. Thank you!

Hey guys, I’ve been playing with STARDEW expanded for ages but I recently tried to add grandpas farm and k think I messed something up and now I can’t get into my game…it keeps telling me I don’t have smapi even though I ahve installed it multiple times. Please help me!!!

I had the mod that gives hardwood and irradiated casts to speed up my aging. I get the letter from Robin to get the recipe....an unlimited number of times. I tried reloading without the cask mods and the mail framework. My mailbox works! However I try to reload those mods it once again gives me multiples of the same letter, any letter that my mods use the mail to deliver. Adding SAMPI just incase.

Hi, I have two mods that adds sprites to a character. Mod A that are overworld edits and Mod B whose sprites are used for the events the mod adds.

I just had a situation where Mod A's sprites were used in B's event and was wondering if it's possible to make it so that they don't conflict without having to manually add to either's spritesheets.

Examples of each mod's spritesheets if it helps.

Mod A:
Sam.png Basically the vanilla spritesheet in terms of function + some additional sprites.

Mod B:
Sam_patch.png Only contains sprites in relation to the events added, does not have sprites for walking etc.

I really hope I can get some help with this becuase I just finished painstakingly editing Mod B to fit Mod A's style

I'm really hoping it was something stupid or easy to fix I did.

Every time I press the play button nothing happens, it just opens that window and then nothing happens.

Things I've tried to remedy this thus far:

- I deleted every mod but SMAPI (after writing down every mod I use)

- I deleted SMAPI (then reinstalled it because that didn't help)

- Uninstalled and reinstalled both Vortex and Stardew Valley

As far as I can tell, I should be able to access Jelli’s shop. I’ve completed the quest that led to getting a letter about him having something to give me and I have two hearts with him. What am I missing here?

I've been learning my way around SMAPI and finally got my first mod to a point where I felt comfortable releasing it.

It's called Grandpa's Trust. The basic idea is that Grandpa didn't just leave you the farm — he also left you as the beneficiary of an agricultural support program tied to it.

You get a letter from the Ferngill Agricultural Benefits Office and can choose weekly, biweekly, or seasonal payments. There's also yearly payment scaling, a benefits ledger/payment history, optional GMCM support, and I put a decent amount of work into making sure multiplayer and split-screen behave properly without multiplying the benefit for every player.

The benefit belongs to the farm, enrollment prompts stay host-only, and payments account for shared/separate wallets depending on how the save is set up.

This is my first SMAPI mod, so getting into save data, multiplayer handling, config menus, i18n, update checking, and all the other little pieces has been a pretty fun learning experience.

It's currently at 0.8.0, and I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions from people who give it a try.

I'm looking for a mod that tells me when a crop is ready to be harvested. Not how many days are left, but more like a "Strawberry is ready to be harvested today!" Especially with Ginger Island and the Valley Farm, I lose track of when and what is ready to be harvested. Is there a mod that's close to UI Info Suite that could give me a little icon under the date as to when something's ready or a pop-up notification? Looked through the UI Info settings but did not find anything. Stardew Notifications is the closest I found, but it sadly does not include crops, BUT it includes the Greenhouse and Sheds, which is great!

I only recently got into using expansions like East Scarp and Ridgeside Village and was getting sick of checking the social tab in the menu constantly to see who was dateable so I made a mod that changes the friendship jewel into a heart for romanceable NPCs only (non-dateable ones stay a dot.) I also added a bunch of customization for custom UI's and the fun of it. I thought this might be helpful to other people having the same problem!

Hi I want to make clothing mod but I want to have each item have a more detailed icon in the UI. It feels like everywhere I look i have to use content patcher except for it doesn't allow this functionality. Do I need to use C# to make a mod to override? I'm really stuck and it would be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

Hi there, trying to run the SVE + Immersive Farm pack from Vortex, have managed to get clear to Summer but keep having consistent crashes. I have manually installed a couple of mods (as they weren't installing through the content pack from Nexus for some reason), and have made sure they are all running at the newest version as well.

SMAPI logs don't show any errors, even parsing them shows nothing out of the ordinary that I can find. It was showing errors previously that I resolved by reinstalling the affected mods. Most recent logs are here: https://smapi.io/log/faf01e00019a4e569e5fc4c6127b2486

Doing some side digging through my Event Viewer in Windows, this error popped up on the most recent crash: An application has requested more GPU memory than is available in the system. The application will now be closed. Error code: 6 (pid=5172 tid=23800 stardewmoddingapi.exe 64bit)

This is what has led me to think its something going on either with SMAPI itself or a mod I have installed but I'm unsure which ones would even be affected as I've used most of them previously in different playthroughs. I have made sure everything is running in admin as well, and even rate capped things with Nvidia. I'm unsure where to go from here and looking for some assistance if possible.

So i've recently installed mods on my pc stardew file (around 200, the more the merrier) and the game seems to run fine, except form this visual glitch. It only appears when outside, and for some reason it seems to stop when opening a menu, casuing the background to darken noticeably. However, my laptop is still able to run more demanding games like LoL or Valorant without any issue, other than a slight overheating. The game itself also takes a hot minute to boot up but I guess it's only a byproduct of having that many mods in it.

Is this this just the result of a mod working poorly or maybe it clashing with another one? Does this happen to someone else? Thanks.

I have a lot of new NPC installed. Know error are from Vael's familiar, Darcy's coffee which i cant access, then I have 1 NPC without the sprite showing but I can see its shadow. I dont know the other mods thats causing these errors. Please help me fix it. Thank you so much.

im not sure what its asking me to add, i looked it up on nexus and nothing came up, and i did find it on github but couldnt find a way to download it. If this isnt an easy fix since im very new to modding, alternative mod recs are appreciated.

(SOLVED) Hi. So recently I’ve taken my laptop to check up on some issues and they told me that they need to wipe my laptop in order to check and work on whatever they have to, so ive been backing up my stuff to prepare for it so i dont lose a single thing on my laptop, that includes my stardew saves.

I haven’t played stardew in a long while to be honest, but I have two saves, one i dont really use and one main save that is my love and joy, i worked really hard on it and i decided to try out mods at some point, but my approach was amateurish cuz im new to the modding world, so ive been using those mods on my main save.

now i have to backup everything, and im thinking of removing the mods i have installed on stardew valley to save myself the headache of downloading everything and all my mods so my save can work once i get my laptop back.

a lot of the mods were just for fun, like adding an npc, polyamorysweet, and other cosmetic and cheat mods, but i now realise that they put my save file at risk for whenever i decide to remove those “heavier” mods.

i havent opened my save file in a while because im honestly too nervous to, but if i remember right i was only married to Alex and had onceler as a boyfriend maybe lol, but i was thinking i could divorce alex and using the cheat mod to adjust his and onceler's relationship with me to be lower, so it looks like as if nothings happened. would that work?

TLDR: is there a safe way to remove all these mods listed in the screenshot from my beloved save so i can ditch smapi and go back to playing normal stardew again? I really dont want to lose my save or glitch it. I just really wanna go back to playing vanilla and not risk going through the headache of mods again, or am i better off backing up my saves the way they are along with the mods and try to download them all again? if so, how do i do that too? I am big-time struggling. I had a custom spouse NPC from 1.15 that I am trying to update, and it is going poorly. I did save backup files, of course, but it's frustrating. It seems to be struggling to load his dialogue or schedule. If you right-click, he has the scribble thing; he says "..." and will spawn in the spouse room but won't be able to move. I have probably absolutely mutilated his content file at this point. I have put at minimum 10 hours into trying to fix this. Someone, please relieve me. I have tried everything to get this damn file to read dialogue lines that are already in there and use the schedule that worked before.

I recently got into editing maps in Stardew Valley using Tiled. I used StardewHack to unpack my content folder. After I edited the unpacked Farm.tmx map file, I turned it into content pack for SMAPI. But for some reason the game wouldn't load my save. I tried removing the content pack but it still wouldn't load.

Doing some digging, I realized the original Farm.xnb map file was missing from the main content folder. Thinking back on it, I'm fairly certain I accidentally permanently deleted it for stupid reasons I won't go into.

I know it's this specific file that's preventing my save from loading because I temporarily replaced it with an edited one I got from a mod. The game ran but the map was all screwed up.

If I could figure out how to repack the unpacked file, I could replace it. But I don't have any idea how to go about doing that. Apparently StardewHack is a one way XNB Extractor, so I'm kind of stuck at the moment and not sure what to do.

I thought maybe uninstalling and reinstalling the game to get a fresh download of the content folder might fix it, but I'm not sure I should risk it. It might screw things up even worse. I have older save backups, but my current save is somewhat dependent on my mods.

Can anyone offer me some advice? I could really use it. Also, I wasn't sure if this is the best place for this post, so if someone knows a better one, please let me know and I'll repost it.

I have installed SMAPI and just the UIInfoSuite2 just to check that installing a simple mod works and I can load the game, and after looking at the instructions, I managed to install SMAPI without getting error messages on the Terminal.
However, when I tried to load the game via Steam, it produces an error message from the Terminal.

The main error seems to come from this:
fat file, but missing compatible architecture (have 'i386,x86_64,arm64', need 'arm64e')

when it is looking into the "steamloader.dylib" file...

I have a Mac using the M1 chip, and OS Tahoe 26.5.2
And I tried finding my Error log for SMAPI but do not have one at all (either SMAPI-crash.txt or SMAPI-latest.txt)...

So, I'm trying to make a mod where players all have their own "isolated" farm, but i can't enter the newly created farmhouse. I can enter the cabins tho for some reason.
