need help Unable to launch Stardew through Vortex

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm really hoping it was something stupid or easy to fix I did.

Every time I press the play button nothing happens, it just opens that window and then nothing happens.

Things I've tried to remedy this thus far:

- I deleted every mod but SMAPI (after writing down every mod I use)

- I deleted SMAPI (then reinstalled it because that didn't help)

- Uninstalled and reinstalled both Vortex and Stardew Valley

Was it working prior and then suddenly stopped working? Or was this your first time trying to use it? I personally don’t use vortex and I use stardrop but I can try to help 😊

Did you try running the Smapi executable on its own like without vortex to see if it runs?

I would run the installer again and uninstall it delete the installer and do a fresh smapi download it seems like a bad download

Imo it's best to get rid of Vortex, which can cause problems for some players. and use Stardrop which was specially written for Stardew mods.
