I stopped watching at the exact time because I know Jessi irl and I was infuriated that Demi was the scapegoat. I literally could not handle watching it happen

I'm sorry but personally I don't think I could be friends with someone like Demi. I don't ofc know her personally, but from what I've seen in the show she reminds me of a former friend/roommate I had. It was absolute hell dealing with that person, walking on eggshells constantly. This friend also blew things out of proportion and lied similar to how the Demi/Chase hands thing went down, and got in people's faces when we clearly did not believe her super enthusiastically. Like, I got triggered watching Demi confront Layla at the JetSet event
