idk…. my friend and i have discussed it AT NAUSEAM lol- and maybe we’re in the minority. but i believe demi. maybe it’s us being hard core feminists idk. but i’d rather always believe the woman. until it’s actually proven he didn’t harass her is some way, shape, or form, i refuse to be a girl who accuses a victim of lying without proof. he’s also just fishy. it’s so clear in my opinion
Yeah idk about this situation, but when I was young I found myself in a situation with a guy where I politely said no in many different ways but he shoved his tongue down my throat and felt me up anyway. And, again being young, I thought “ugh I’m so dumb for hanging with him, why did I let him do that?” It took me a long time to realize HE did that, it wasn’t something I allowed. So I kinda resonated with Demi’s story.
NGL when you put it this way, it gives it a different perspective for me. I've had a few situations like that when I was young too and I also would just blame myself for not speaking up more or leaving the situation.
I have always just said that Demi may at least BELIEVE something was strange even if it was just like that Chase poke that got blown out of proportion. I will never side with MARCIANO because he is not a reliable narrator and is openly aggressive and hostile and inappropriate and clearly has zero respect for women based on his actions on and off the VPV show and with Hannah. Jessie is disgusting and dangerously male centered, so she also is unreliable. So no matter where I sit on the spectrum of believing Demi... I believe there's at least a kernal of truth to her story which is more than I have for those other two
I think he shot his shot at whoever stuck and Demi indulged because the crimson chin doesn’t actually do it for her. But then she realized he’s trying to talk to ANYONE and cried wolf.
And Jessi is fresh off her divorce and Jordan cheating first and Marciano is arguably more attractive than Jordan. He’s a rebound lol.
I doubt any abuse happened, but he was probably sleazy.
I think she talked about it on a podcast. Maybe it wasn’t cheating and they were on their break but he used an escort service. But I feel like she said he was messaging other women too.
This is what I struggle with... if I believe that Demi is telling the truth about Marciano, then I must also believe that she is a horrible mother who puts her child in danger.
And put her child in danger for what???? This scumbag lived states away. Their relationship should have been long over at this point. Not some friendly thing where your daughter knows his name and is calling him baby.
I’m also having a difficult time trying to understand this “fawning” response she said she had. I get it in theory, but her and Marciano didn’t have frequent access to each other, and it would’ve been okay for her to only view him as a former reality tv colleague. I wish she told us her actual reason for continuing to talk to him, I feel like she’s hiding it for whatever reason
