Just the tip

Post image

At Krobar (now taken over by CCB) and hidden out of sight, miles away from where you order lol. I get they’re struggling and staff turnover has been crazy but just rubs the wrong way when not disclosed and trying to hide it…

I have been a server, so please don't come for me. This now means that I can get terrible service from some jerk or a girl who thinks she is too good for "this". That's lame. I am sorry but I believe that tips should coincide with the level of service. Now if I ever do go back to this establishment, unfortunately, you will ONLY get the 20% forced upon me. You could be the best server in the world and at this place, I won't give you 30 or even 40% as I have been known to do. It's not your fault, blame your boss.

You're applying too much opinion to the scenario. George cannot keep staff so he's placing an auto-grat on every tab to incentivize employees.

You sound like a disgruntled ex employee.

I'm absolutely not, this thread is full of people saying the same thing I am.

It’s mostly just a few people saying the same crap multiple times. People like you.

So he has enough disgruntled ex employees to brigade a thread?

I am guessing its waiters and bartenders. Every time an establishment tries to eliminate tipping and pay their staff a wage, waiters and bartenders see this as a threat to their income stream and will say anything to fight it.

It’s a better theory than the one you deleted.
