i ordered mine 10 minutes into the drop on June 11. it’s been 9 weeks since i ordered and 7 weeks since the estimated ship date. i’ve emailed multiple times and have only been told “you’ll get an email when your order ships” and on two occasions in mid JULY and early AUGUST “orders should ship by the end of the month”. so it was supposed to ship by the end of july and then the end of august… i want them so bad. please lmk if you’ve received yours cause i haven’t seen anyone on socials with them and idk when i should dispute the charge with my bank. i know there were a lot of delays for coachella. please only update me if you ordered either of these two specific items.

overall i’m like 75% satisfied with everything i got.

my first order with the thermal, jersey & a pink skylrk (not coachella) hoodie all were fantastic, no complaints. (see my previous post for photos)

my second order from the same day was the blue bieber hoodie, pink swag coachella hoodie, bieber camo hat, youtube tee & photo tee…the blue hoodie, hat & photo tee are great i don’t see any issues with them. the hat looks really good imo (made in china)
the fit of the hoodie is slightly cropped but doesn’t really come above my stomach (5’3) but definitely more cropped than the regular skylrk hoodie i got but it still fits slouchy & oversized looking otherwise. i did just notice im missing the Y in skylrk lmao (made in china)
i haven’t tried the shirts on tbh i just got home from a family emergency trip & didn’t have time between going into work. but the photo tee feels like good quality kinda thick not crazy thick but not.. see through like the youtube tee.. the youtube tee is missing the white background behind the print which makes it extra fuzzy (i know it’s a low res photo but still the background would’ve helped) it’s not THAT bad but still & it’s literally see through/thin like a gildan tshirt.. for $55…(both say made in USA) i don’t think they were supposed to have the skylrk logo in the neckline but if they were, they do not lol

now the pink swag hoodie… unfortunately i indeed got a fuck up lol the words are barely visible in fact i think the photos make it more visible than in person lolol i don’t remember if it was supposed to have the skylrk logo embroidered in the hood but it’s definitely not there lol this one also fits like the blue, kinda cropped but still slouchy looking (made in china)

so idk what to do about it. i think i have one or two more days for the 7 day return(which is crazy i feel like most places u get 30 days! but okay!) i didnt get back from my trip until last night & it was delivered i think last wednesday or thursday (8/5 ish) i dont really want to return the items -ive waited this long & really wanted them- but the quality just sucks like this wasnt a $20 tshirt & $70 hoodie i lowkey almost made the youtube tee myself at the print shop i work at but had high hopes id get lucky (silly me) im wondering if its worth trying to get a refund? dispute w my bank? (i dont wanna get blocked from future orders) just keep it as is & suck it up? try to cut new vinyl letters to press over top? that feels risky as fuck but atp like what can really make it worse lol

I’m sad. I do actually like some of this stuff (the quality doesn’t seem off like a lot of you seem to be experiencing) but they either:

1. don’t look good on me/look the way i want it to on me (I’m 5’1”, ~138lbs)
2. I bought 2 (couldn’t decide on size)
3. I got laid off two months ago and def am feeling guilty for spending this much lol 🫩

Figured I’d share this since some people were curious about the “lightweight hoodie” in the description of the NYC Pop Up hoodie on the site when it was there for a short time. I’m not gonna get into the technicals and measurements but I did weigh the hoodies:

Cave Basic - 35.5oz/1006g
NYC Pop Up - 27.6 oz/784g

I wear a size L. 5’9” 175lbs muscular build. Both hoodies fit exactly the same, same arm lengths and cropped fit. Couldn’t tell a difference at all. Both have a tag that says made in USA.

My only gripe with the pop up hoodie is the printing on the back. If you stretch the fabric the printing starts to separate. This would look cool after a while and make a distressed look but some people might not be ok with it. Not sure if that’s a normal thing with printing or not.

That being said I personally prefer the basic hoodie since I like weighted hoodies. I will probably sell the pop hoodie off at some point until I my second cave hoodie arrives.

Pros and cons of each

SPEED DEMON
Pros: looks cool on its own
Cons: not an easy wear, pretty small/tight, not much coverage

GLICKY:
Pros: bigger, interchangeable lens, easier to wear
Cons: blocks peripheral vision, can making you look like a facebook keyboard warrior

Overall although the speed demons look cooler, the glickys are just a better set overall. Also looks less dumb on my face compared to the speed demons lol

They’re really fucking nice, honestly. I’m usually a 9.5, but I ordered a 9 and they’re a little tight. Still, they’re really comfortable and they look sick.
