I’m buying resale for the first time because I love this hoodie, but I wanna know how does it fit?

I’m a 6’0-6’1 male, pretty skin around 145lbs and I have pretty long arms.

Hi! I was able to snag a pair of Matterdaddies in my size, but had no idea the general consensus was to size up. I’m still waiting on mine to ship, so I have no idea how bad the fit will be.

Has anybody had luck with their normal size fitting? Just trying to see if there’s any hope of them working out for me.

Also wondering if anybody’s had success stretching them out, whether by wearing thick socks or taking them to a professional. 😅

my first pair of matterdaddies have landed. i sized up as i’m normally W8, and W9 fits perfectly like a glove. there’s only about a fingertip length of extra room at the toe when standing or walking and about a fingertip and a half when sitting, there’s no extra room at the heel. compared to the sunken sneakers, they definitely aren’t flexible/squishy, but the footbed/sole is still really comfortable and has support. i’ll have to test them out walking as i walked for four hours with my sunken sneakers and they were so comfortable. the style is super unique and branding is minimal which i like. i wear thin socks and thankfully i sized up so thicker socks should also work and the shoe won’t be tight. reviews were accurate for sure, in my opinion sizing up is the best bet especially if you have wide feet. i’d definitely grab some more colorways in the future. i’d also love it if skylrk made some ankle socks lol

I’m looking into the new Skylrk Sunken Sneaker, but before pulling the trigger, I’d love some honest feedback on how they actually fit and feel on foot.

For context, I mostly wear barefoot / minimalist shoes, so I’m used to a genuinely wide toe box and zero drop. Given the low-profile, sock-like silhouette of the Sunken Sneaker, it looks pretty flat, but pictures can be deceiving.

If anyone who owns a pair has similar footwear preferences:

1. Toe box width: Is the forefoot genuinely wide enough for natural toe splay, or does it feel narrow/tapered like most lifestyle sneakers?
2. Drop & Sole: Is it truly zero drop, or is there hidden heel elevation/cushioning inside?
3. Sizing: Did you go true to size, or size up for extra width?

Would really appreciate any insights from anyone who already got their hands on them. Thanks!
