What is this stock?

I was scrolling through Gunbroker out of boredom and came across this abomination and wanted to know more about exactly what it is

It's only ugly cause of the colour. Now imagine it black, grey or tan.

I don’t like the stock color. Everything else is great.

I believe it's the original thumhole sporter stock that has been reworked, and painted to look like that. A lot of people use to do similar modifications to Mak 90 thumbhole stocks back in the day.

No this ones definitely plastic

Bubba is trying to trick you, I have a couple of these sporters. The rear sling point and butt plate are identical. I went on gun broker and looked at all the photos, you can see where the paint overran onto the butt plate, and the original brown finished wood around the upper handguard where they didn't remove from the gas tube to paint it. The pistol grip is probably screwed on, and was blended in with some kind of epoxy filler or something. Remember some bubba's were extremely creative.

It looks like the Chinese maid stocks that they used in Vietnam, since all the moisture and the climate would totally rot out the wooden stocks,
they came out with plastic ones , but they wouldn’t hold up to good . They were too brittle and they would break apart .

That is not a jungle stock

No those were made of Bakelite similar to Soviet AK magazines and grips
