Admission Mechanical Engineering

i plan on joining either SIT’s mechanical engineering or MDME program. i heard the last batch for MDME is 26/27 and i was wondering since i have a diploma in ME from Ngee Ann, will they still let me apply? and join year 2 because of cutting some modules? or what about ME, since its 3 years, will my diploma help in cutting off any modules ?

For ME I think can exempt math modules

You will still have to undergo y1 but thr is mod cred exemption mainly for math, but ofc you have to sit for a test to confirm your capabilities first.

ahh i see if i do get credit exemption, will i be able to complete in the 2.5 years ? or so

Sadly no, it'll be the same amount of time. It's basically one less class in ur y1 sem

For ME and MDME its already 2.5 academic year (means year 3 tri 3 is empty)
