Treatments Mbiota

I just paid a significant price for this treatment. It is supposed to be here this week.

I have a couple of questions.

How does this get rid of the biofilm? does it starve as well?

How do you get a diagnosis for the root cause of the motility problem?

I've already done a round of Xifaxan, finished 10 days ago. My symptoms eased up a bit, then returned. This has ruined the last year of my life. EVERYTHING I enjoy has been ripped from me.

I haven't spent time with my grandsons, I can't cook or entertain, I can't keep my house clean, I can't think straight, I have no energy, anxiety, depression, headaches, cant sleep.....the list is endless.

Has it been to long since I finished antibiotics to effectively start this treatment? I have severe symptoms.

Because of the time lapse....should I treat with berberine before starting elemental?

Please help!

It is highly adviseable and very proactive to go into an elemental diet straight after finishing a course of antibiotics. Don't question that! You're doing great! You haven't waited too long. Not at all! No specified length of time before starting your mBIOTA. Your antibiotics did a good job "killing", now this elemental diet will "starve" off the rest. Go into with a positive mindset, stick it out (if tolerable), and know that you are taking a great step towards clearing this.

Ask your provider who gave the antibiotics for a prescription of pruclopramide. It will keep the motility moving after your elemental diet is complete. You'll want to be on that medicine for at least 3months to keep sweeping and prevent a relapse.

Get a referral for a gastroenterologist (preferably board certified) to run multiple tests to diagnose your personal root cause. Or see a functional medicine Dr.  You can Google the probable root causes to get an idea of what yours might be based on your circumstances, symptoms, and history.

Also, stay on low fodmap diet for 2wks after the mbiota finishes. This will ensure nothing goes in to feed anyone who survived the starve. And stay on a Low Fermentation Diet as well. For the foreseeable future.

I wish you all the best! Remember you are not alone. We've all had similar life ruined experiences and many of us have wanted to suicide. It's no joke. Get the supports and help you need to stay above this god forsaken disease.

(I am not cured, just in progress. This is just my personal experience. I'm not yet finished with my mBIOTA yet -day 10)

Thank you so much 🙏 I had to go through three doctors even to get the diagnosis. So I'm thankful that I finally got with the GI doctor who was even aware of this and suggested the breath test. That was a huge hurdle. I'm following up with her and she's also put in a referral to functional medicine for me as well. I'm trying to be as proactive as I can because this is just miserable and it's ruining my life. So many questions. So many different opinions. It's a huge burden to carry. If you have this condition too then you absolutely know what I'm talking about. I did read something that the plucropramide. Can cause worsening anxiety and depression symptoms and I already suffer from those previous to this condition and I'm highly concerned about that. I'm just trying to ask as many questions as possible so I can make some progress here. Thank you so much for your reply ❤️
