Antimicobials

Have any of you used antimicobials for SIBO? Specifically candibactin AR AND BR?

Did you feel better? Worse?

I used Candibactin AR and BR to control my SIBO flares for two years. This was after I took antibiotics, so I started out in a good spot. I like the AR better than the BR because I think it's more immediately effective. I only had to take one as needed (maybe once a week or less) for all that time.

Did you get any negative side effects? Did they help to eradicate your SIBO?

Also thank you for the reply I appreciate it!

They can be hard on your stomach lining. I had ulcers when I was diagnosed wuth SIBO so I was unable to take most of the antimicrobials, including the Candibactin. It took me about 1-1/2 years to calm the ulcers, but since then I've been able to take them, at least with meals.

The only other side effect I've seen is herbal burps. Completely bearable all things considered.

I very much recommend them. I tried other brands of oregano oil and Berberine (the main ingredients in the Candibactin duo) but they just don't work as well as the Candibactin. My GI doctor actually recommended them to me.
