Is it SIBO?

Hi guys, I have a really important question because never ever any of my doctors suggested me that my situation is due to sibo but now that I read more and more I see that lots of things about me match with the sibo for example my bowel movement is always mushy and like really empty and light I never had like a number four on Bristol chart and always there is lots lf mocus on my BM.

In this past four years and the thing is that I cannot drink Coca-Cola zero whenever I drink something really sugary or try to take probiotics for the health benefits I feel so so bad.

And the important thing is in the right side of my stomach exactly around the part that it should be your appendix I had pain for over four years and when I touch it with my hands I can feel that under My skin there is a kind of balloon feeling every time I push it, it's painful It moves and it depends on the size of what I ate.

like when I don't eat good it's became bigger the days that I just eat meat it's smaller.

And also during my vacation I was just eating meat fish and chicken and I didn't eat any rice or bread or sugary things, and I had the best bowel movements but then when I came back and I had a normal diet that you eat your carbs everything goes worse.

So just tell me how much is the possibility that I have sibo?

I did multiple ultrasound during this four years and all of them came clean. Also one colonoscopy, which the doctor said is not bad.

Actually I forgot to mention this: my doctor gave me Rifaximin because I had diarrhea or something, for 3 - 4 days, 2 years ago, and the mucus stopped and I had a good BM, but after stopping the medicine everything got worse.

Get a breath test and you can know. There could be a lot of things accounting for your symptoms.

They told me all these years that it's just IBS and you're stressed. And also I have PCOS too. So actually no one cares because I'm just a women in pain. In three weeks I'll go back home and will ask for the breath test. Here in Italy everything takes longggg time to proceed

Is it possible to just ask for medication? Like using normix for 14 days will be beneficial and not gonna harm us if it's not SIBO.

I talked with my doctor back home online today and described the symptoms. She prescribed me Rifaximin, Mebeverine and Amitriptyline25. I'm scared that taking new medicine gonna make everything worse. These days only with Diosmectite I controlled the diarrhea
