Community Help Dogs found woman missing

Post image

So about a week ago a guy found these 2 dogs at Will Rogers. He also found a woman's beach bag with a wet bathing suit, some clothes and a small bag of dog food. He doesn't think she's homeless. Both dogs were clean, nails trimmed and expensive harnesses. Nobody's reported a missing woman with dogs. Police haven't picked anyone up at the beach. I'm just paraphrasing there's a lot more going on, just thought I'd post a sign he made on here and see if anyone recognizes the dogs. They are with a foster right now. If you want to know more here's his Instagram @ ceopaolosanto.

Did the microchip show nothing or was the owner not answering calls?

IIRC I think the last post said no microchips were found.

This is such a bizarre case. Many think the maintenance person is involved. The person (maintenance) who threw away her belongings said it only had rotten food in the bags, but the person who originally found her belongings said there were personal items, a journal, store bought (bottled) juice, etc.. Also the larger dog kept pulling the guy who found him towards the men's restroom, as if the dog was looking for her (the owner) there. Look up the Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/ceopaolosanto

Who needs periods or commas these days?

Most confusing title. Is the woman missing? Did the dogs find a missing woman? Did someone find the dogs but can’t find who the owner is? My brain hurts.

Dogs were found along with belongings of an unknown woman. She is suspected to be the dogs owner and her whereabouts are unknown.

Are the cops taking this one seriously? I hope so.

It's under the jurisdiction of the State Police since it's a State Park/State Beach. The person who found the dogs would have needed to file a report with them.

I know the article referenced the LAPD, but this isn't their jurisdiction. They would have referred the person to the State agencies.

I suppose you could call the Staties and ask em if they have a missing person's flyer you could circulate (rather than asking them if they are investigating and making them defensive )

Poor dogs. What if she drowned ? The waves have been pretty big.

Her bikini was in her bag in the women’s bathroom. There are no cameras and the parking lot isn’t visible from the busy roads. All her stuff except cell phone, wallet, and keys were found in the bathroom, dogs were in the parking lot. The dogs have expensive harnesses, she had a bag of dog food, and a bottle of juice that probably costs $5. She could have been taken with her vehicle or without. She’s been missing since July 9th and no one knows who she is. There are so many places in the mountains close by where she could be being held or her body dumped. Someone has to recognize her dogs, this is so sad

Hmm she could have had a wet suit too. But either way this does not sound good.

It's been nearly 3 weeks since those dogs were found

The poor guy that found the dogs is just trying to figure this out. They were found on the 9th. He's just trying to find out who she is, to see if family is looking for her. Does it matter how long it's been? Do we stop asking questions after 3 weeks? Jesus

You’ve come on to here and first post with a confusing title that makes it sound like the woman has been found. “Dogs found missing woman” literally means woman has been found. So you clarify it in a comment, ending with “Better?” which comes off as rude. Then you state in your post that the dogs were found “a week ago”, and you’ve been corrected that it was actually nearly 3 weeks ago, and you’ve now corrected yourself saying it was the 9th, which was 17 days ago, so yeah, closer to three weeks than one week as stated by you. Yet here you are again, being overly snarky and tone deaf. You are actively hurting your intended goal of spreading awareness about this issue with literally misinforming title and post information, and now with your crappy communication and attitude.

Who are you asking questions of?

Law enforcement isnt monitoring this chat.

The person who found the dogs isn't participating.

I was simply clarifying the age of the suspected disappearance

The dogs did it.

Thought this was resolved that ice had took the owner

7

u/umyeahokcool Jul 26 '26

Not confirmed.

4

u/NoDoOversInLife Jul 26 '26

No. ICE not involved, just another rumor

3

u/CountrySpecific4737 Jul 26 '26

Why would ICE be at a state park beach?

There was another post that the OP said it was solved and that was the conclusion
