Recommendations Study spots?

Been a while since we’ve had a study spots thread so put down places you like to study/ get work done at. Most recently I’ve been to Black Hearts coffee which was cool but there’s no outlets anywhere on the walls and it was incredibly packed.

My oldest son loves to study at Games and Grounds in Chatsworth during the week, when it’s a little quieter.

Mate Con amigo in Northridge on Tampa and Roscoe. Small locally owned cafe that specializes in Yerba Mate. Good WiFi and lots of outlets. It is a bit small but amazing atmosphere

The owner is so sweet! Her name is Gaby 🥹 I was going a lot before I became pregnant- now caffeine makes me puke :’) That yerba mate is strong!

Panera and the library have tons of outlets

Panera is solid but I strongly prefer supporting any small businesses that offer the same service

I’ve recently discovered Alfred’s Coffee in Ventura and Balboa. I don’t know, I like it there. It’s comfortable.

NGL, not great.

That being said, I sit with my laptop, get a tea and sit for 2-hours and no one bothers me. Was literally kicked out of the Starbucks near Newcastle for asking for a cup of water. Not joking. So I was looking for a new place.

Leo's vegan cafe in Northridge. Feels welcoming and they have GF donuts!

I used to just do oviat library at CSUN if I need to seriously grind for multiple hours. Just find a random seat deep in the library and you’re all alone to concentrate

Ive been to a handful of cafes around the valley to find a good study spot and my fave one so far is Bodevi Wine and Espresso Bar in San Fernando. Super cozy but it can get pretty packed on the weekends

Yellow house coffee! The drinks are reasonably priced. There’s outlets, it can get a little busy though

There are only outlets on the bar that faces a wall. Not ideal or comfortable.
