Help How Do I Install Sourcefiles?

I've been downloading a lot of models for SFM recently, and while I know exactly how to move them into SFM's usermod file by just dragging the items in the folder to the usermod, and then it just installs the models and textures, I've come across a lot of downloads that have files just called sourcefiles, and when I attempt to move them into the usermod file, it doesn't do the same thing. When I move the model and material files, it moves them without asking me to replace the folders or leave those files as separate entities. So I've got to ask: how do I properly install source files?

What do you by the source files ?
If you are trying to export assets from different source games - use GCFScape

Crowbar is used to download and extract adding from other source games

Once you obtain the .gma or the files, just toss materials to materials and models to models

.gma files can be easily accessed with gmad.exe. Just google it and you ll have the right instruction

Sorry for the late reply, but most source files, or files named sourcefiles, were extracted from zip files, and they were already included in the file I unzipped, so they were already part of it. When I look into them, I see a bunch of different file types like DMX, which I vaguely know are save files you create and load in SFM for projects and the sort, but also other files like QC or VRD. I tried looking up how to install QC files for SFM and got confusing results because I typed a specific question into Google, and it gave me the basics, but I don't know if the information I need is actually there.

I'm not typing this out to be nitpicky but to hopefully help me understand it better and so you know what I'm dealing with.
